We did a walk-in takeout order of Momo's, an egg fried rice, butter chicken and some naan bread. Overall the food was good and the momo portions great! Only one real issue. They asked us what spice level we wanted for the momo's and butter chicken. We said no spice (hot) level whatsoever for both. The butter chicken was alright on spice, but the momo's were pretty spicy for my kids to eat. Good thing we ordered both the fried and soup one, as they could just eat the fried ones plain. The momo's were a good value. They gave quite a lot and they were quite plump with chicken filling. The butter chicken was flavorful and went well with the soft naan. The fried rice was also very flavorful for being such a simple dish, but I would say a little pricey for what you get. We will have to come back and try more from their extensive menu of Indian, Chinese-Indian and Tibetan cuisine. Overall the food was good. Had a disappointing experience. I ordered the fried rice, but when it arrived, it was clearly burnt and inedible the rice had black stains on them and I brought it to the cashier’s attention, and the lady there was polite and even ADMITTED IT WAS BURNT. THEY EVEN TOOK THE FRIED RICE AWAY AS SOON AS SHE KNEW IT WAS BURNT. Said they would replace it with something else. So we ordered Butter chicken. However, when I got the bill, I was surprised to see that they still charged me 50% for the fried rice even though I didn’t eat it at all and it was clearly not up to standard. Then why would the lady asked if we wanted it replaced it at first place? I don’t think it’s fair to be charged for food that wasn’t edible in the first place. bad impression.
