Churchill Arms is a MUST stop every trip to the Island. The korma is my fave but all of their dishes are good. I have asked they open a second location in Halifax as I dream of korma... *UPDATED REVIEW, 1 YEAR LATER* Still a must to stop here. Ate here both Friday and Saturday night during a girls weekend to PEI. Friday night I ordered coffee prior to my meal and had to ask for it a second time as my friends had already finished their ciders. Server brought it and it was the worst cup of coffee ever. I told the server and she offered to take it off my bill and I advised her I would be bCk on Saturday and we could sort it then. Came back Saturday and same server greeted us and said: you're back! Sadly we had a different server actually wait our table and no mention of the dish pan water coffee was brought to her attention. I didnt bring it up, and I should have but was annoyed the first server didn't bother herself. Food here is AMAZING but I was disappointed by the service and awful coffee this trip.

I had been wanting to eat here for a while, but never took the opportunity until today. I really enjoyed the feel of the restaurant, it felt very cozy. I had order a regular size garlic bread and half size of deep fried pepperoni. When I was mostly through my meal, I noticed a dead fly on one of the pepperoni. I alerted the waitress and she took it away and offered a new order. I declined as I was short on time. I waited for about 10-15 minutes after finishing to receive my bill, a large rush of customers had been coming in, keeping them busy. I was only charged for my drink. Overall, not a great experience, but the waitress and atmosphere were quite good. I will likely not be returning for a while.

It was SO good! We had the curry sampler, and each one was delicious, though my favorite was the Korma. We ended up ordering extra to take home! My girlfriend had the clubhouse sandwhich, which she thoroughly enjoyed. The staff was super friendly and patient as we tried to figure out what we wanted. They were also helpful in answering all questions. Overall, it was a great experience, and we love the pub itself and all its charm. Definitely suggested, especially if you are new to trying curry as I found none of them were too hard to handle spice wise. (Korma was not at all spicy).

I'd heard good things about this restaurant, and was reallyyy looking forward to eating here. Curry was good, fries were excellent, deep fried mars bars were good. But unfortunately the service we received was not good. We sat outside with a number of other guests. As the evening was cool, guests were offered to move indoors. We chose to remain outside. However, many tables who arrived after us, and eventually moved inside, were tended to and served long before us. We watched people who arrived significantly after leaving the restaurant after finishing eating and paying, while we had not even been checked on once to see how our food was or if we needed anything. Later our waitress arrived and told us that'd she gotten busy inside and hadn't had time to check on us. We don't understand why we were any less important than other customers. As younger men who are members of a minority group, it made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. We didn't have drinks or appetizers, yet our dining experience lasted well over 2 hours from start to finish. We felt ignored and the meal was not enjoyed as it could have been because of the lack...

We were visiting Charlottetown for the first time and looking for a pub. This place looked attractive and as soon as we walked in the door, we were not disappointed! The fish and chips are fantastic - even my British wife was impressed! The selection of beers was great. The service was friendly and welcoming. The price was reasonable! We went back a second time and had a similar experience. Even when it was very busy the service was not rushed. Highly recommend this pub!! Tyler our server was very good.

Our only criticism was that the two of us were at a table for six. It was busy and told the staff we could share the table with other guests. They did not do this but when we invited three people waiting in line to join us, the staff were grateful and we enjoyed a good evening. So I guess just a message to the staff - patrons should be given the option of waiting for a table or join others who are...
