Read moreMy friends and I wanted to try this place because we heard good things. Upon arrival, we ordered pizza and the server started putting it in a box. We thought this was the norm because the place was so small. We weren’t asked if we wanted to dine in or dine out. I’ll note that on the box, it says 500F for 10 minutes, assuming that’s for if you take it home like many other pizza places. For example, at Farinella, when you order the pizza for dine in, they give it to you in their branded box which also has a cooking recommendation on it but they know you’re dining in so they heat it for you.
After we got the box, we paid and then grabbed plates and utensils and went to sit down. The pizza was gross. Staff saw us pay and grab plates and go sit down. After we made it 10/12 pieces through, a lady who worked there came up to us and asked why we didn’t heat it up (???) and pointed out that on the box it says 500F to cook at home and we said we weren’t asked if we were dining in or out. No accountability or apology. Basically, it costed 80$ for uncooked pizza and there was no offer for reimbursement. It was obviously a miscommunication but why would a server not ask if we’re dining in or out? Especially because we had never been there before. One of us got awfully sick last night so we won’t...
