Patio Dining Perfection – A Feast for the Eyes and Soul!
We had the pleasure of enjoying an unforgettable meal on the patio here, and every plate that arrived at our table was a work of art—vibrant, flavorful, and plated with care.
🥟 Wagyu Beef Gyoza These were hands-down the star of the evening. Each dumpling was delicate yet packed with richly marbled Wagyu beef that practically melted in the mouth. Topped with finely sliced scallions, a drizzle of creamy spicy mayo, and a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds, they rested on a bed of savory soy glaze that added just the right amount of umami depth. The accompanying dipping sauce brought a sweet-heat kick that tied it all together beautifully.
🍔 Canadian Sliders Next came a duo of juicy sliders—each bun soft and slightly toasted, cradling a perfectly seared patty. One was classic and comforting, the other spicy and bold, both topped with crisp lettuce and tangy sauces. The mini Canadian flags added a festive touch—perfect for a summer celebration! These were satisfying, flavor-packed bites that disappeared way too fast.
🧀 Spinach & Cheese Dip with Chips The warm spinach and cheese dip was pure comfort—bubbly, golden on top, and irresistibly gooey inside. It came with a trio of colorful tortilla chips and crisp garlic bread rounds, making it ideal for dipping and sharing. The roasted red pepper salsa on the side added a fresh, zesty contrast that balanced out the richness of the cheese beautifully.
🍹 Chilled Beer & Cocktails Let’s not forget the drinks—the beer was perfectly cold and crisp, served in frosty glasses that glistened in the sun. The cocktails came garnished with citrus wedges and chili rims, bursting with bright, refreshing flavors that paired wonderfully with the food.
Great beer and all the other drinks choices as well.
🌞 Ambiance & Service The patio had a vibrant yet laid-back vibe—perfect for golden hour dining. The service was equally outstanding—attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming.
Final verdict - A flawless patio experience with incredible food, excellent drinks, and genuine hospitality. Seats/Cushions can be improved. But If you’re in the area, this place is a must-visit. We'll...
Read moreWhen we initially showed up, I told the front end staff about the reservation and she seemed confused. The waitress said she needed to go speak to her manager about it, as she wasn’t sure where we were seated, so perhaps a lack of communication between staff? I reserved standard seating for 7 adults, 4 small children and a baby. When we arrived they obviously didn’t read the reservation request, as we were seated at a high top table. The staff were nice enough, but didn’t provide us with adequate cutlery and the music was very loud, which is what other people have expressed as well in their reviews. I understand it’s a sports themed environment, with tv’s etc but it’s also a family restaurant, so yelling over the music to the kids and my senior parents wasn’t fun.
In the reservation I mentioned that it was for a special milestone birthday. Some restaurants will put some balloons up or offer a free dessert, but nothing special was done by staff, which begs the question, why even ask if it’s a special event online? A few of us agreed that the food was super salty (specifically the fries/gravy which Ive read in other reviews) and I was sick to my stomach the following day. The pop was also super flat. The kids enjoyed the virgin pinã colada slushies but other than that, the food wasn’t great for the value, it was too loud and the service was sub par. Wouldn’t recommend. Disappointing as I’m a local and brought my family who is out of town here.
Update: I emailed Breanne Mills at the Brewhouse, after they responded to my google review, asking me to email them about the experience. I sent my email to her on September 11th and it’s now October 9th and I never...
Read morePrevious to our visit today, we always associated Canadian brewhouse with below average service. We would always joke about the server buttons at the tables, saying they were only way to get service. So we when we went tonight, we were surprised to see the buttons were not there anymore. We are very laid-back customers and are generally not in a rush, but we have had to press the button on more than a few occasions. After getting seated and seeing how busy it was, I was a little nervous about how our night was going to go. So it was a very pleasant surprise to have such wonderful service. Our server (Sara M 39) showed up to our table quickly, checked in with us an appropriate amount and was very friendly and refreshing. Even when we needed something, I was able to find her quickly and get what we needed. The night was indeed very busy, and she handled a large amount of guests proficiently. It had been a few years since we went to Canadian brewhouse, mainly for reasons listed at the beginning of my rant, so this visit was a test to see if we should start coming back. If Sara is a representation of the service we will be getting, we will definitely be coming back. I have previously left a review for the brewhouse, so I had to go the extra steps to be able to leave this review. I hope that really reflects how passionate I was about everyone knowing about our positive...
