Moe's Pizza Co. — Restaurant in City of Lacombe

We stopped while traveling through LaCombe on a Monday night. The staff were doing their end of the evening thing which was a great first impression of the pride they took in their job. We placed our order of a Medium Mini meat pizza cooked well done. The person taking our order was very attentive and friendly, we ordered a pumpkin milk shake and he was sad to inform us the machine was down for cleaning. He just saved us the calories lol, but followed up and offered other options. We got our pizza and it was fine to perfection and it had a great flavor, but I would wait for it to cool next time the cheese was molten hot, not surprise but when you think you can out smart the heat ya no. It was also during game 7’of the baseball playoffs and the young man that took our order went above and beyond to see if we could get it on the TV, unsuccessful but I appreciate the customer service that he gave! Always the best!!! When we moved here last year from Calgary we were worried that we would not have a good option for pizza.

OMG the someone last December recommended Moe's and wow the crust is out of this world. Truly the very best crust I have ever had anywhere, I am so addicted.

Then we tried the mozza sticks and the dry ribs with dill pickle Seasoning OMG!

The calzones are amazing too because of that top notch nobody is better criat.

The milk shakes are sensational as well.

This is our third meal at Moe's in the last 8 days haha crazy!

The manager and the staff are always welcoming with a smile.

I own a HR company and I am always amazed at how many people should not be in customer service because they are negative, short and simple don't care.

Update - I was contacted by Moe's and told a refund was in the works and offered a gift card to try them again. 3 weeks later, refund was never received nor was the gift card.

Sorry Moe's but that was the worst pizza we have ever had. We have been disappointed in the past and thought we'd give your pizza one last chance but we were not impressed at all. Pizza was over cooked right off the bat when you lifted the lid. Esthetically we knew the pizza would not be good. Cheese was brown and crusty and the toppings were sparce. Crust was flat like cardboard and tasteless. Pictures on the website are deceiving, pizza looks nothing like that at all. Way overpriced for what you get. Worst...
