If you enjoy paying 15$ for the equivalent of a mc donalds smol Fries. This is the place for you. I'll Never again go there. Used to be a regular that tips but also discovered that the owners take tips from the staff.

Just seen a reply from the owner further down and I can assure you they do not fix things when it is brought up. Disregard the owners replies as they are ignorant, distasteful and shows a lack of professionalism.

: in response to owners reply

Stop blaming the customers when the majority of negative reviews are basically within the last year. What's nasty is your blatant disregard for the consumer who pays your bills. All of which was posted above is true and complete. The food issue was refuted and argued by staff with the excuse that prices went up. That's not an excuse to charge up to 20$ for a mc donalds small frie and a pop. Portion sizes are a joke. It's sad to see such well supported company scrape and gouge the customer and staff. And it is absolutely disgusting that management staff take tips from the employees. What a disgrace to take money personally given directly to the person whom earned them for their hard work and good service. I suggest looking at the trend in negative reviews this last year alone to help you better understand your egregious errors. And as to why the place has such a high turn over for staff. As a Canadian who whole heartedly supports local businesses and promotes them I can say for certainty that I will not eat there again...

In response to Gail Giese; Our restaurant completely filled up for lunch today as you are well aware of that, we serve tables in order of each other we do not push tables ahead of somebody else. Our sign at the door that is visible to our customers states, please wait to be seated, though I realize you may not have seen the sign when you decided to seat yourself, but I am sure you realize that we cannot bump you ahead of everybody else after we noticed you sitting there, I had 4 tables walk in before you I could not push others behind to tend to you, waiting for your turn is how we do things here to insure everyone gets the same service. Getting up and walking out was your decision but calling me rude on here is uncalled for as I was not rude to you and only pointed out as you were leaving, im sorry but you were suppose to wait to be seated otherwise when it's busy we do not realize somebody had seated themselves. I was in no way rude to you unlike your gentleman companion that was with you, he was very rude to me. Walking up to me and telling me it was horrible service because of having zero patience to wait your turn. Good luck in other restaurants that will give you that immediate service at full capacity. None of our customers waited 15 mins to be served, even at full capacity today. There are many more restaurants in Leduc, if you are looking for fast food then a family restaurant is not the right option for you. Thank you and have a great day Gail...

Steak was overcooked 1 stage, ordered medwell got well done, still tasted good but not a trace of pink. My fault, I guess I should have ordered medrare as I'm in Alberta right? That's how to order steak right? Medium rare, that's how it's ordered. Rare or med rare, bloody or extra bloody. You want pink that doesn't bleed, cook it yourself, I always get fully cooked, well done. Whatever, at least it did taste good with some steak sauce. Service was great, and wait time was great. I will definately still return though as I get overcooked medwell frequently from many other steak houses too. Hence the 4 star review. Everything else was still great. Just overcooked my steak one notch, not burned or anything, just a delicious well done, when I'd asked for a medium well instead. Loved every other aspect though. I'm sure they would have made it right had I complained, I didn't, I was short on time and even though it was overcooked, my steak was still enjoyable. Things can't be perfect every time for every guest. That said and considered, of course I will return, I have received "perfect" steaks, pizza, etc in the past. Today however, whilst less than perfect was still yummy, and it was at 3pm, between lunch and supper, kind of an "off" time to be ordering steak. I still like this place and of course I will return. They have delivered "5-star"...

Leduc diner had an old school homey quality to it. The door to the restaurant is a unique, painted wooden door. Once inside, the staff were friendly and the interior was clean. While the wait staff tend to be inexperienced, they make up for it with a good attitude. Our waiter took away a salad, but didn't ask if we wanted to keep it or pack it. As far as pizza is concerned, Leduc Diner offers its own take on the classic dish. I noted that the pizza dough here is soft rather than crispy and crunchy. The pizza turned out well, and the flavour was present. Compared to the pizzas of the metro Edmonton area, this isn't bad. The lasagna featured a sweetened tomato sauce. It was not too thick. All in all, I think this diner was okay, but not at the level of 4-5 stars.

Came back today(September 16) myself for lunch alone, Had mozza sticks and the club sandwich. In the middle of my meal I had to leave due to a family matter and my server was so quick and awesome at getting my bill and boxing up my food. She even packed my drink in a to go for me. I will continue to come back here as it’s proven to be a the great spot I said before. Great little spot. Appetizers were great but I will say my main, the beef dip. Could have been seasoned better but otherwise lovely. Husband loved his veal cutlets and my daughter enjoyed her grilled cheese, Will definitely come back to try more in the future

Friendly, prompt service. Food is great, price is just right. Located quite close to our airport hotel (6 min drive) but clientele appears to be mostly locals-- the waitress clearly knew almost everyone else seated in our section. Interesting omelet by my American standards- rather than the thick layer of eggs studded with filling and folded over, it was comprised of many thin layers of egg folded intricately, with fillings between the layers. Dining companion got pancakes which I am usually lukewarm on, but these were really good.
