Tutti Frutti breakfast & lunch — Restaurant in City of Spruce Grove

0 stars. I have never been treated with such disrespect in a restaurant in my life. We were seated and got our drinks, everything was fine, it took a little longer to get our orders in but we didn’t mind. Lots of other tables were seated and we had been there for about 40 minutes waiting for food, again we didn’t mind as we assumed the kitchen was busy. Then we say 4 other tables that were seated after us get all the food they ordered, some of which was exactly what we had ordered. After waiting an hour for our food I had to flag down our waiter as he hadn’t come to our table once taking our order to check on us (they were not short staffed) I asked politely if he knew when our food would be out as we had been waiting a long time. He lied and said that there was kitchen trouble and no food had come out since we came in, he said this even tho we knew other people were getting their food. After 10 more minutes I asked him again, and politely added could he check on when our food would be out, I had a meeting in 30 minutes and my friend had to be at work. He snapped at me and raised his voice saying “ what do you want?! I don’t work in the kitchen!!!” Me and my friend were in shock, we talked about just leaving when our food had arrived. At the table we talked about having a word with management about the waiter if we had time or writing a review, we think the waiter over heard us. When finally getting us our bill, he tossed it on the table and said oh there’s 25% off, and walked away, I had to AGAIN flag him down to give us the machine so we could pay. He never once apologized for the time we waited or his rude behaviour. This has completely changed my opinion of this entire franchise and I will not be going to any tutti...

This was our first time dining at this restaurant with our kids. They do not have a separate kids menu, so we had to read the options to our kids, which isn’t a big deal. Prices are on par for other breakfast places… however…. What we got for those prices was incredibly disappointing. We ordered the new chicken with French toast, breakfast poutine, and the brunch.

Chicken with French toast was a total rip off. Two slices of thick sandwich bread French toast style, with ONE thin chicken breast deep fried split between the massive slices of bread, for $19.75, I should be getting TWO chicken breasts. If this was a dinner, I’d be getting two. Also, no sides. No hash browns, no fruit, nothing comes with it.

My husbands poutine was was more of a hollandaise soup. There was so much sauce on it you couldn’t taste anything else. No toast was offered on the side either, which is the norm for other places. No sides offered either.

Last but not least the brunch, which was probably the best out of the three, this was split between my two kids because the kids menu didn’t have plain French toast with any sides. Not every kid wants bananas and strawberries on their French toast. No big deal. This worked out well, and probably looked the best value of the three meals we got.

For $75 for this family meal… we were left incredibly disappointed...

We got there and our waiter sat us down at a booth although we requested a table. We then ordered our food and waited for about 45 minutes just for them to get my order wrong. We discussed and I told them the correct order. After waiting for another 30 minutes for my meal my 6 year old daughter then accidently dropped her chocolate milk. We rushed to clean it up. As my waiter walked over and saw the mess she continued to full on scream at my child. We we're fed up at this point and just wanted to get out of there and go home. So I ate my pancakes and moved on to my scrambled eggs. And to my shock they were completely bitter tasting and overall just disgusting. Lastly after eating all of our food we asked for the check and we waited for 26 minutes and 17 seconds(I timed it) we then got tired of waiting so decided to go the front where they didn't have a register. Our waiter then saw us at the front door and YELLED at me and my kids for getting up. Apparently we aren't aloud to leave our table until our waiter told us. Which we thought was ridiculous. We explained to our waiter about how we were going to pay, just we were tired of waiting. And once again they started yelling at us. We paid and left. Overall one of my worst dinning...
