Subway — Restaurant in Cobourg

If I could give this restaurant no stars, I would. I was in tonight after working a very long, tiring shift thinking that I could quickly pick up a chopped salad, which I very much enjoy from Subways (usually). In the recent past I have come to this exact location and never had an issue ordering a chopped salad. However, tonight, the male working told me they do not sell chopped salads, which I know to be false as I worked there when I was a teenager and know that we always made chopped salads. Thinking maybe he was hoping to save some time by denying me a chopped salad? I asked if I could have a regular salad and he agreed. He asked me what I wanted in it, and I proceeded to tell him my meat choice, steak. He put barely any steak in it. I didn’t say anything at this point. Then we moved on to veggies. I asked if I could have both lettuce and spinach. Sitting here right now looking at this salad, I can maybe count 2 or 3 leafs of spinach and hardly enough lettuce to constitute this being called a salad. But again, nothing was said. I then asked him for tomatoes and onions. He picked out only 2 slices of tomatoes, both of which still contained the woody and inedible core, which should normally be removed before being placed out for customer consumption. He cut them in half, so now that I’m home I need to cut them up smaller to be able to eat in a single bite and also cut the core out of them. At this point I did ask for a few more slices of tomato, to which he looked very upset and mumbled something inaudible under his breath. I also asked for shredded cheese on it, and you would have thought the cheese came out of his personal pay cheque with how little he put in my salad. And to think I paid nearly $15 for this??? Is this even a subway? What a shame to this guy who has red round dot thing on his forehead.

I asked if they have any charging points he rudely said “no” (no eye contacts pretending to be busy making my shit subway that I ordered and got from him) i could clearly see charging points I asked him thrice are you sure you don’t still same thing. And then I saw charging stickers and asked what is this and lastly he said “wireless charging”. I mean how could a person be this mean and rude. Bro I just wanted to charge my phone

No talk except for “pickup order or dine in?” And that’s it.

The manager the owner should be ASHAMED too. Probably reading my review but still ignore it.
