I have to admit that I am quite irritated with the service here I would say almost 40% of the time. I give 3 stars because the rest of the time I am satisfied and most of the staff is great. I know they have a staffing issue and that's something I understand however, I find the overall quality a bit lacking. Either with the way the food is served, it's availability or the food quality. What I mean by the way it is served is this; no napkins, missing utensils, the food is sometimes "stuffed" in its package I.e: the wrap is literally pushed inside it's box to the point it's broken and so on. For it's availability I don't understand how at anytime in the afternoon they run out of wedges, run out of crispy chicken at 5pm, chilli at 6pm. You're lucky if you get anything but a very few bagel varieties after 8pm. I understand if it's 12 am or anytime after that until 4am but I mean come on, when you have to ask what they have available instead of simply ordering, it is, in my opinion a problem. For the food quality, I am generally pleased except in the morning. When my hashbrown is as crispy as a potato chip there's a problem. I mean you shouldn't be able to knock your hashbrown on the dashboard of your car without it breaking and yet that is what I get at least 50% of the time. I don't care if you have to throw the entire batch left because nobody bought them. Don't give them to the customer, better yet, make new ones. It shouldn't come to me or anyone in that state to begin with. Finally, I have to say that since the new management has come in, efficiency has definitely improved, waiting times, organization, cleanliness, service and even the food because in my opinion it used...
Read moreI want to share a disappointing experience I had at the Cochrane Tim Hortons. I visited the drive-thru during the evening on multiple occasions (about 3–4 times), and each time the service was poor.
When I asked for specific donuts, the order taker told me they didn’t have them. I then asked for an Iced Capp, and she said they didn’t have that either. What upset me most was her rude attitude. She said, “If you want something, tell me immediately—I’m busy and don’t have time to talk to you.”
When I got to the window, I asked another staff member who the order taker was. She looked at the woman inside who had taken my order but refused to give me her name, saying they are not allowed to share staff names. I later found out that the woman who spoke to me so rudely was actually the supervisor.
I was extremely upset by this unprofessional behavior and requested to speak with the manager. I strongly recommend that the management pay more attention to how staff treat customers and take action against employees who are disrespectful.
This experience has left me very disappointed, and I no longer wish to visit any Tim Hortons where staff do not know how to speak to...
Read moreI regularly stop at Tim Hortons when travelling since there is a consistency in the food and coffee no matter the location; and generally service is good. I stopped at this location mid-morning while driving from western Canada to eastern Ontario. The soap dispensers in the bathroom were out of soap (first time I experienced this at Timmie's). When I went to the counter to get coffees, there were 2 people ahead of me. Both of them only ordered coffee, yet I waited over 15 minutes before I was served. There was only 1 person taking and fulfilling orders at the counter, and his tag indicated he was a trainee. In the meantime, there were 4 staff standing around talking in the area by the drive thru window in addition to the 2 who were taking and fulfilling orders - none of the 4 made any move to help the order counter, notwithstanding that there were close to 10 customers waiting in line for service by the time my order was taken. I do not know if the lack of service is a result of staff apathy, lack of training, management apathy, or simply not giving a hoot about customer service. This is one location I will skip over next time I travel...
