I ordered online for "Immediate Pickup" at 5:58pm. Website states "Estimated prep time: 15 minutes", and when my order was received, it was stated that my pies would be ready after 8:10pm - whoa! 2+ hours to make a pie? No thanks... I'll go somewhere else. Problem is they do not have a phone number OR a method to cancel the order online. We e-mailed Boonies at the email provided - no response. We had to go down to the store to see what was going on.

I would NOT recommend using the online order function (which works PERFECTLY at other places) until they fix this flaw. Also... what pizza restaurant doesn't have a phone number? This is odd and turned out to be frustrating. I also have yet to get an e-mail back from Boonies......... :(

All in all - the pizza is fantastic. You can smell it from the street and for blocks around it. We had take-out, but the atmosphere is really nice. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. They pushed our order through and the pies were ready in around 15 minutes. My experience would have been 5 star, if I had just shown up...

Went here after finally coming back from a week at sea. I found it a little hard to find at first since it shares the same structure ad what looks like an apartment building, but once I found it there was no mistaking it.

I went in and the staff were polite and quick to react to my arrival. I got a little patio seat and looked over the menu. I found the non-alcoholic drink menu a little limited (at least compared to a very expansive alcohol menu) but I tried the orange soda and LOVED it. Took a while for my pizza, but the place seemed rather busy so I didn’t mind the wait.

And oh boy the wait was worth it. I ended up eating seven out of eight slices of their Crowd Pleaser (with bacon, the fifth food group, added atop for a modest fee) and took the last one home. They gave me a complimentary chocolate chip cookie for managing to eat that many.

Would definitely recommend and will absolutely come back here if I’m ever through Comox again- and dear lord I hope...

This was the third time we've ordered, but he first dining in. First two times it was amazing but tonight I left feeling disappointed. I ordered a pizza split as I was sharing with my kids, my half was amazing (I had the pear and spicy sausage) but my kids was really really soupy on the bottom. To be fair it was mostly the middle piece and I think due to tomato sauce, but it was very wet and they only had for between the two of them so my one son left hungry. I did tell the server when she asked how the food was, she asked if it was the whole half and I said no and that was the end of the interaction. I guess if it was cheap pizza I wouldn't have cared, but it's pricey and with the $2 charge to do half and half and then it being wet I guess yea it wasn't the best experience. Will we be back? Yes, but pensive about this occuring with this specific...

We recently tried the sourdough pepperoni pizza, also known as "The Crowd Pleaser," and the unique pear pizza, "Grow a Pear," at this pizzeria, and they were the best pizzas we've ever had! Even though we were initially hesitant to try something new, we were blown away by the flavor and quality. Although the prices may be a bit high, the food is definitely worth every penny. The pizza had an amazing crispness with every bite that was just mind-blowing. We loved the perfect crunch on the outside while being soft on the inside, and the pizza held its shape without sagging. We highly recommend this spot and will definitely bring our family and friends here when they visit from out of town.

The pizza with a sourdough crust was very tasty but oily (although we ordered the "Broc and Roll" which has Olive, pesto, and truffle oils.) Other people have mentioned that the crust is a little burnt in some places, and yes, the cooking was on the very edge of being burnt. No forks, eat with your fingers. The beer was served nice and cold in glass jars without handles. The place was for a different demographic generally speaking the atmosphere is for a younger crowd with loud semiraunchy music. Which is odd, because it's located in the heart of retirement-ville Comox.

Top 5 pizza in my books! I have been to Boonies Pizza twice and will continue to return whenever I am in the area ☺️ The pizza- The crust is light and a perfect supporter for the traditional and creative toppings available on their approach-ably small menu. With the option for extra toppings you can customize your pizza how you like. The seating/space- There is a mix of 2-top and 4-top tables along with a long “social” table next to the large window that makes this a bright space. When busy, this is an energetic environment, perfect for socializing.
