I just wanted to share my experience with the store and the staff there.
I will give this store a solid 10/10. I went there today for lunch and I was feeling a bit anxious. I haven’t tried banh mi before and I have been researching what I could possibly like.
I walked in and I told the cashier that I have not tried Banh Mi before and I would like to try whatever he can recommend - which he recommended three of their popular items (chicken lemongrass, sate beef & the deluxe classic). He carefully explained to me their flavour profiles and he was really patient. As soon as he mentioned that the deluxe has a “pork belly”, i knew I had to get this one.
I was also wanting to try one of their drinks and the peach tea caught my eye. I’ve asked if it taste good which then another staff said Yes, and that they only carry that flavor at their location.
As soon as i got home, out of excitement, I started eating the combo i got (banh mi, spring roll & peach tea), and I can confirm THEY ARE ALL DELICIOUS. They are so yummy I knew I have to come back soon! LOL!
Overall, staff was really friendly, the food was made really well, the bun was nicely toasted, the flavour of the veggies are so fresh, the protein was nicely portioned, the pate - very yummy! The price is also reasonable, I believe I paid $18.00 including tips!
Thank you to all staff who worked today Jan 22, 2025...
Read moreThis place is so cute. I was craving a sandwich/bahn mi and in the Tri-Cities Facebook page someone had posted this restaurant. My partner said it would be the perfect place.
I had the sate beef combo with pork spring roll and a strawberry smoothie upgrade. My partner had a lemongrass chicken sandwich. Our subs were amazing. Beautiful flaky bread. Our meat ingredients seemed to be high quality and tasty. The veggies also seemed to be fresh and crunchy.
The shop employees were friendly and courteous when we walked in. It is a pretty simple set up with only a couple of drink and sandwich options.
The space is small, but bright and clean and you can tell that both the owner and the employees take pride in the establishment.
They had given in a takeout bag, but once they realized we would be eating in they gave us a tray and plastic baskets. They made sure we had everything we needed.
I would 100% travel here to get a sandwich. This was the best Bahn Mi I have had in...
Read moreI got a satay beef and deluxe classic with a Thai milk tea and Vietnamese coffee for $37. The drinks were okay (no straws???) the Vietnamese coffee was a kinda watered down for my taste cause of all the ice they put in. Thai tea was really sweet, tasted like melted ice cream, there is a hint of tea. Satay beef was very sad looking bánh mì (+$0.50 for a measly smear of pâté, it was like they just wiped off whatever was left on the knife on the bun) Deluxe classic was good, not much else to say about it. Almost forgot about the spring roll, they tried to sell the combo so much but it’s basically the price of a sub + spring roll + soda you don’t save anything? Also only two of their bánh mì have pâté like isn’t that what makes a bánh mì a bánh mì? Maybe I expected too much, high-key more worth drive to Duffins for bánh mì and Thai tea. Lastly, this was lowkey cheaper (like $7) to order on UberEats and pick up than to buy in store… Sorry for...
