This place serves North American Style Chinese food that you can order or eat at its buffet. The buffet is about 12 options (one of them being the most tasteless Wonton soup) and the other being the basic choices. Egg/Spring Roll, Chicken Balls, Fried Rice, Noodles, and General Tso Chicken are all passable, but anything with vegetables was cooked in a thick goop that was so bland and slimy. The rice was actually too salty. Everything else was just bland or too simple to be that bad (i.e. French fries and wings). The service itself wasn't terrible but wasn't great either. There was only one woman working. The drink options were soda and water, maybe there was beer, nothing for kids. The buffet sat empty for a little while but was replenished in fair time. And the decor was what you would expect, but cleanliness was not on their priority list. The place did have other customers, but unless you really want Chinese food (and can't find it elsewhere) or are starving, I would...
Read moreI would give it zero stars if possible. I have eaten here for years and today is my last. Deluxe wonton soup flavorless, max amount of soysauce added to even be able to taste anything. Ginger beef was terrible honestly i have a super stong stomach and eating that was so bad...could hardly stomach it...along with once again zero flavor. The wife had special #1 her rice was rubbery and flavorless, chicken balls tasted a cross between cleaner and frost bite...and garlic spare ribs once again....flavorless. Chow mein...cold. Waitress didnt once ask how our meal was going or how it was, never asked us a thing didnt check up on us either. Not sure why i paid that $60...first and only time in my life where i literally didnt want to pay for a meal...still paid though.. wont ever be back...so sad. Chinese has to be our most favorite meal to eat and after today i just dont see me eating any chinese for a long long time...that was so disgusting...my stomach is still turned....6...
Read moreWent to the buffet… sad. The wait staff were wonderful (& apologetic), however, the buffet was 98% empty…. Food was extremely slow coming out. My husband and a small serving spoon of chow mein and a couple of chicken balls. I had 3 shrimp and a small serving of lo mein noodles….. we basically scraped the containers to get that (and it was cold).
We got tired of waiting for the food choices to come out. After 1/2 hr, got up to leave. Our server only billed me for 1 meal….. which was too much as we both left hungry and the amount on both of our plates wouldn’t have made one full plate. . Apparently….. we weren’t the only ones yesterday with the same experience. The owner should be prepared for a busy Friday evening if there’s a buffet.
We won’t be back that’s for sure (due to yesterday and previous take out orders tasting terrible). It’s a shame that this restaurant has gone down hill so badly. It use to be the best...
