Am I missing something here? Based on past photos I was expecting a fresh, made to order, steaming hot Pad Thai bursting with flavor. 👌🤷‍♂️ I was directed to a display case with chilled, pre-made meals with only 6 left, mostly Pad Thai. Apparently it's cooked off site as this is an Express location though I can't seem to find any other location in Corner Brook. Reluctantly, I opted for the Pad Thai. She kindly microwaved it for me as I didn't have one in my hotel room. I was hoping for fresh but here we are. It's nothing terrible but not spectacular either, I've had and made better. It's mostly sweet and oily, too much on both accounts with an abundance of shredded carrot, a few flecks of green onion, egg and a dusting of peanuts. I was expecting finer noodles, not a broad noodle which ended up in a congealed mass that I slowly had to break apart. An option for hot sauce and fresh limes would have been nice, perhaps I should have asked. I definitely wouldn't order it again. If this is their business model I don't anticipate it to last. Hopefully I'm missing something; back door, secret knock to get to something more amazing and authentic, oh... and hot made to order, not microwaved.

This was my first time visiting, and I had such a great experience! The service was amazing from start to finish. I was served by Cheryl, who was incredibly friendly and attentive. We ordered the Chicken Shanghai Rolls and the Vegetable Spring Rolls both were absolutely delicious and full of flavor. One of the staff members, Emma recommended I try the taro milk bubble tea, and I’m so glad I did it was one of the best bubble teas I’ve had! Everyone we interacted with was so kind and welcoming. We’ll definitely be coming back again soon. Highly recommend!

Wow. The food here is definitely a hidden gem! Can't believe I waited this long to try it. So fresh, the presentation was outstanding and the flavors were like nothing I've experienced around here. Definitely try the Korean Beef Bulgoli or the Pad Thai, both were delicious. Definitely worth the stop in. You'll definitely come back! I will for sure!

Without a doubt one of the best meals I have ever eaten.

I tried the Lechon Kawali starter and immediately have a new favorite appetizer. I fear it may be hard to find elsewhere in NL and I doubt it could be beaten if found.

My wife started with the Shrimp Tempura as she is a huge sushi fan. She was very impressed with the taste and quality.

The menu listed the @Leesh Rideout Basil Stir Fry as the hottest item the serve. Always one to test myself with Scoville units I happily ordered this dish.

I was not disappointed. Not only does it bring the heat it brings flavour. Which is not an easy thing to balance. Knowing this is a menu option will make it very difficult for me to try anything else next time we are in Corner Brook.

My wife opted for the Pad See Ewe and loved it. She couldn't finish (good portion sizes) so I helped her out. She isn't a fan of spices and she still got great flavour.

We will definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal in the Corner Brook area. We enjoyed our...

I've gone to Wowo's on West street twice now and had the ginger chicken soup both times.

The first time was phenomenal, it was a Saturday during late afternoon, during CB Nuit. The broth was beautifully clear, the chicken was tender, the ginger was nice and thin - I cleaned the bowl! Service was great, and the deck was lovely.

The second time was about 1pm on a Friday. The ginger wasn't skinned and was super thick, the chicken was stuck together, and the broth was cloudy. I think it was boiled too hard instead of simmered. Service was slow, and the seating inside felt dark (which is a matter of personal preference, to be fair.) I also had the veggie spring rolls, which were quite good, and the spiced vinegar was great.

Not sure if it was a timing issue or just the staff each day, but my experience has been variable. When it's good,...
