Snow & Rum — Restaurant in Corner Brook

Wonderful little spot to try out some amazing Indian style food. We had the Channa puri as a starter but we got surprised by the potion size! It was absolutely fantastic with the medium spice level and the flavor was absolutely amazing!

My wife had the Butter Chicken with the rice and she is Spice fanatic! And had the extra spicy and I tell you she was even surprised at the spice level and was absolutely amazed that it was actually extra spicy to the point she had to take it home to finish as it was making her noise run LOL. That and being full from the starter already 😂

I had the Kerala Beef Curry with Naan bread and rice and I'm not a spice fanatic like my wife so I only had the regular level of spice but I was pleasantly surprised that the spice level wasn't that tounge burning spice I'm use to but it actually made the dish way more enjoyable with a little kick. I was sweating LOL but I tell you I enjoyed every bite of the beef and naan bread. I would eat this everyday if I could.

The server we had was very sweat and pleasant and explained everything on the menu perfectly to us and was always so happy to assist. She was absolutely fantastic!

I also had a chance to shake the chefs hand who I believe might also be the owener? He was extremely excited we enjoyed the food and spoke with much passion about the food he was cooking.

Overall! between the welcoming vibe to the big portion sizes, we will definitely make this a date night location and I encourage everyone to...

In the last few months Veeru and his team have helped us celebrate a 50th birthday party and a staff Christmas party. We have had nothing but great service from planning the events to the execution of it. With that said, I highly recommend Snow & Rum for multiple reasons - The manager is so accommodating and promptly replies to all communication. He will do what he can to ensure his patrons are well taken care of. Food is delicious, hot and great prices. Cheap drinks!! and the servers will make anything your heart desires if possible. Found this place on Google, it was rated 4.8 stars, so we gave it and try and we were not disappointed. The food was amazing, best calamari I have had at any dine in restaurant and the tzatziki sauce was to die for. Ordered the poutine and got a surprise when it was served with waffle fries, as well as shredded cheese and curds, best poutine hands down. Last but not least the brisket sub was very tender and paired with a delicious sauce. The server was very friendly, made sure we had everything we needed and also removed his hat at the bar as we ate. We will definitely recommend this to friends and return when back in the area.
