Over the course of a week we visited this Robin’s several times for coffee or a muffin as there aren’t other options. Each time, the tables were dirty. Some days the coffee was good, others it was undrinkable and we poured it out. Today our experience was atrocious. As I stood in line the flies going in and out of the dirty display were a testament to the overall shabbiness and uncleanliness of this establishment. I still ordered coffee and while the young man was trying to serve the entire lineup, three women stood just behind him gossiping and doing nothing to help. The state of the counters, floors, tables and every surface was a reflection of the lack of pride and leadership here. I felt particularly bad for the elderly woman in front of me who waited for ten minutes for her bagel. If I were staying in the community longer, I may have complained or asked to speak with a manager, but we flew out today. I only wrote this in hopes someone will take action and step up their game. They are a busy little spot and the community they serve...
Read moreNew location looks nice but it was not built with intelligence in mind: it is not in a practical location, it's in the way in an already congested area for traffic unfortunately. Seems to be an old person hub, a hangout spot for the elderly since old people were EVERYWHERE inside and outside the location. (I guess they are trying what the kids these days do and are going to hang out outside of coffee shops and other public places now too? Lol) Service here is terribly slow, waiting for only 3 people ahead of me took so long i had to leave, wait times should never be that bad considering the drive thru was empty, i was a bit suprised at how bad it was. Almost 20 minutes waiting for a bagel? I could go to tims when its BUSY and get a full meal 3 times over in that same time frame. This location wont last long if they intend to keep the business alive unless they hope to make enough money off all the seniors that...
Read moreI've been eating Robins' breakfast sandwiches and their chocolate chip muffins since the restaurant opened. I've actually called out which locations in St. John's would close due to their poor quality control practices.. they can continue to blame covid if they like. I know the Corner Brook location is new and I understand it could take some time to get everything under control, however, if the owner is reading this, i recommend visiting the Paradise (Kenmount Road) Industrial Park location and if possible, having a meeting with that franchise owner. Their QC practices...
