What a Racket. You go into store wait long time to be served, order a coffee to go with very clear instructions for cream and sugar, take the coffee away, have first sip and realize the staff can't understand cream and sugar instructions. Coffee taste horrible to me as it was made wrong.
Now I'm not going to drink this horrible tasting drink and I've wasted money, AGAIN here.
I'd like to take this time to tell say I am NOT IMPRESSED. I've been holding off writing a bad review and to give this location a 5th and 6th chance.
I won't be back.
It's a simple coffee order, I have no faith the staff can handle anything complicated if they can't listen and retain simple instructions for cream and sugar.
It's been 5 years of disappointment.
I won't be back. Good luck oh hiring and training people to listen I can't waste anymore money supporting thus business.
There is a lot to be said about doing a good job. The staff today did not do a good job.
Follow up on my review, since posting you can see someone asked me to reach out to their website and make a complaint there. This was uneventful I went on the website, then made phone call to the number listed and made complaint. I have not heard anything back from the manager or from corporate Tim Hortons.
I feel like this fell on deaf ears and I can expect nothing to change. It's sad really the manager replies that this complaint is concerning...... then absolutely nothing gets done about it. So thanks for saying it concerns however when you drop the ball on any follow up it feels like lip service at this point with little or no concern for the terrible service. Once again I won't be back there is better places in courtenay like Milanos where the service is top shelf and the staff are...
Read moreI've never had one of the breakfast sandwiches before. I took it to the counter and asked if the sandwich was meant to be cold. They said no it should be hot. I told them mine was cold. She told me that the cheese is always cold. I said the whole sandwich was cold. She pulled out the little drawer with the sausage patties in it and said, "the meat came from here, see it's hot." As they made a new sandwich, I was told - the cheese doesn't ever melt, this sandwich was going to be exactly the same, and if I wanted melted cheese they could grill it. I got the new sandwich and it was hot. While I appreciated the sandwich, I could have done without the argument and condescension...
Read moreIt is what it is. I have come to not have high expectations for the restaurant anymore. The quality of food is a little low for the price you'd pay. I'm never expecting a gourmet meal, but the standard needs to be a little higher. I've caught an employee on multiple occasions only fill my large soup container about 3/4 full, and quickly put the lid on. And give me my order. But I always watch now. I asked her when I saw it the second time, and her response was kind of astonishing.... "oh, you saw that huh?" And then topped it fully. Seems very suspect and it gives rhe owners the image of being cheap and not caring about...
