Pho Saigon — Restaurant in Cranbrook

We are actually a regular customer to this restaurant just because my wife like their soup bowl . To be genuine apart from the soup bowl nothing else is good or tempting to eat because we have ordered several dishes from their menu and we dint like it and once we ordered their sub sandwich OMG it was a disaster .

Today June 25th my wife was so hungry after her work so we entered the restaurant by 7pm and when we entered into the restaurant there was no one there , we went and sat after us 2 groups came in and they were 4 on each group and we ordered our food first . We just ordered a bowl of soup while the other 2 tables ordered soups and rice bowl I guess , the waitress served the other 2 tables first and she dint even bothered to serve our soup . So I asked what’s the reason and why we aren’t served and she dint reply . So we just cancelled the order and walked out .

Is this a part of racism and plus we just ordered one bowl of soup while the other table ordered more than one , we have no clue but this was disgusting for us . We will avoid to go there...

Food wasn’t worth the attitude I was given during the experience, horrible customer service skills, talked with an attitude and yelled at us when we ordered spring rolls and ended up getting eggs rolls, and politely asked her and she said this is not an Chinese restaurant this is a Vietnamese and Thai restaurant with a horrible attitude. But also as if our whole family was not Vietnamese ourselves, I am sure we know what we would be asking about and the horrible attitude was unnecessary. Either way, if the menu said something different but we read it as different there is never a need for such a gross attitude this LADY had. Whenever I walked in, she already had a gross attitude on her face and told us to sit wherever we want, and that’s when I already knew my experience would have been horrible. I was just stopping by for a nice meal before traveling back to America, but I will never hope on somebody else with the service I was provided. It was horrible, there’s nothing...

Was told how amazing this place is by a few people. Called them to get delivery which everyone says they do, but they lady left me on hold for a few minutes then came back and just hung up. I called back and she answered again. I stated I just called minutes before but was hung up on. She replied "ok" and remained to be silent, I asked if they were open for delivery and she's said no but there is a third party delivery they use then proceeded not to take my order and talk with someone else in the back ground. As you can probably tell I just hung up. I'll never eat or recommend this place ever. Lady on the phone clearly hates her life... Which tells me that low level of effort and passion for her job and providing a service probably reflects into their food aswell... I guess this is customer service in 2024 bunch of miserable...
