Jimmy's Pub & Grill — Restaurant in Creston

I was appalled by the behavior of the lead bartender towards and individual. I found out later that the individual struggles with known emotional and mental issues but he had been behaving in a most respectable manner and engaged in spiritual or religious discussion. To thanks him for his thoughts and contributions, I tried to buy him a beer. Instead of addressing a response to me, the bartender wrapped up his bill, told him he was cut off and it was her right to do so without owing him an explanation. She didn't say anything to me about my request and handed him a bill for two pints and told him to pay and leave before she was going to call security. The young man didn't argue but visibly upset, he left. The bartender still wouldn't tell me anything. At this point my bill was only about $45. I told her I was disappointed in what I had just witnessed and the disregard she had shown me and to bring me my bill. I am the type to drop a few hundred at a time at a good pub with good company. I'm here in Creston visiting for another week. I'll be finding a better spot to visit that treats people like human beings. Disgusting employees can ruin...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this delightful bar and grill and couldn't be more pleased with the experience! The outdoor patio is a true gem, adorned with beautiful plants and even an apple tree woven into the fence, creating a uniquely charming atmosphere. It’s not just a sports bar; it's a cozy retreat where comfort meets style.

We stopped by for appetizers earlier and were so impressed that we came back for dinner. Despite being busy, the service was exceptional. Our server made a small mistake with our order but handled it with such positivity and a smile that it only enhanced our experience. Both the meals and drinks were thoroughly enjoyable.

I’m beyond amazed at this restaurant. As a person with food allergies it’s so hard to find food especially in towns I’m unfamiliar with. The staff was excellent! They went above and beyond and made sure kitchen staff know about my gluten/dairy/egg allergy and even double checked the dressings. I ordered the chicken skewers and they were delicious. I’m so grateful and thankful I even ordered two days in a row! The entire menu look great and our group had what looked like an amazing deep dish NY style pizza and large oversized chicken salad. From service to food everything was perfect! Even clean restrooms (such a side note but honestly who doesn’t respect a biz more than when everything’s clean).
