This is my first time ever writing a negative review. And it's a long one.
Went through the drive thru on Saturday around 11am for breakfast. It was quiet, a few patrons in the parking lot but the drive thru was empty. Got asked to repeat the order for a "red-eye iced coffee" several times, they asked again if we wanted vanilla or red-eye. Those words don't sound alike, but benefit of the doubt I slowed it down just in case it was loud in the store and said "red... Eye... Iced coffee please".
Got to the window and got half our order, and then we were asked to wait out front for the rest. Tim's isn't supposed to do that, and there were no other cars in the drive thru behind us. Employees have to maintain drive thru times, I worked there for years and know that by asking us to wait out front (against policy) they are essentially making it look like they got our order out to us in 30 seconds on paper, instead of the 5 minutes we actually waited for a simply sausage and a farmers wrap.
And to top it all off, it took TWO employees to carry our single bag of food out to us, and then one worker purposefully locked the other out of the store. So here we are, window down, facing the store, watching this super awkward prank play out.
We get out of there before the employee is let back into the store, and guess what... Vanilla iced coffee.
This was the least professional fast food experience I've ever had. The staff weren't doing their jobs properly for any portion of the process. Order was taken wrong despite several attempts to fix it, whoever is running sandwich bar and baking failed to keep enough breakfast on hand which caused our wait, they broke policy by making us wait out front so management can't see how long it actually takes them to complete orders, and they're pranking each other on the clock in front of customers.
I used to frequent this location 2 years ago when working in Burnside, and I'm shocked at how much the quality of service has...
Read moreI’m a former Tims employee so i know how things work and im never one to complain about my food but i’m super unimpressed by this place!! I work in the area so i find myself stopping in on my way to work but i definitely won’t be anymore. The staff are rarely friendly and are quick to send you on your way regardless the quality of the product they’re about to serve you. Anytime i get a bagel it’s basically not even toasted, i know it’s just been put through once on the fastest setting even if i ask for it to be toasted longer and i get it if you’ve got a line up or you’re busy there’s not really time but most of the time there’s literally no other cars even in the drive thru. One day, I ordered an ice coffee made with milk and it was obviously made with cream, i asked the employee if she could remake it and she went away and brought me back the SAME COFFEE, i insisted on having my coffee made right and she came back with attitude at me. This morning, I was the only car in the drive through, my bagel was literally not toasted and my coffee had so much coffee grinds in it i couldn’t even drink it... the staff were also blasting music and goofing off which i mean it’s great to have fun at work as long as you get your job done properly. I know if i still worked at Tim Hortons and i gave out products like that id be in a...
Read moreThe worst Tim Hortons service I've seen to date! I pre-ordered in the app before walking into this this location to pick up my simple coffee order. While I stood there waiting where I thought would be the mobile order pick up area (the sign was nit anywhere to be seen until later when I noticed it face down on the counter ), I watched as about half of the staff stood around chatting with each other and eventually daring one another to drink this yellow liquid that was in 3 jugs and a cup on the counter behind them. I think this may have been the lemon ice cap liquid before it goes into the machine. Eventually one of the girls drank a bit and they all had a good little laugh while there were 3 other people now waiting in line to be served. One guy came out from the back room and began serving customers in line while the 4 girls continued their chatting. At this point I had been waiting about 10 minutes and after the guy finished serving the 3 customers, I asked about my mobile order at which point he finally checked the computer to see my order. One of the girls got my order ready at this point. Finally. Yo be fair the 3bor 4 people working the drive through seemed to be focused and on task with the occasional distractions from the previously...
