Tried Pita Pit for the first time today based on a co-worker telling me how good the chicken Caesar pita (wrap) is. I got double meat and double cheese and it came to $23.20 which I found a tad expensive but I figured it would probably be tasty. I noticed the chicken and veg on the grill and asked the server if she had given me double meat and she said yes. I knew immediately this was going to be an issue. The amount of protein you get for the price is insufficient. I got my pita and it was pretty tasty but I left still very hungry. It would’ve taken at least 3 of these pitas to put a dent in my hunger and my stomach was growling all the way to Wendy’s, where I bought 2 spicy chicken burgers immediately after leaving this place. I didn’t take a picture since it’s a pita and not really much to look at but I don’t feel like I got the value for my money I was expecting. For this reason, I probably wouldn’t return to this place unless I had already eaten beforehand and felt...
Read moreThis place is laughable. I use to love this place but ownership has lost it with these constant price increases. Went in for a Regular Sweet Heat Pita yesterday and paid $15.97 for my pita, no add-ons, no sides (aka $13.89 + HST). Places like this are out of control, I promise you there is nothing special about their ingredients compared to competitors. The pita is 7-8 inches max and isn't stuffed like a burrito. On top of that, the employee provided extremely poor service, putting olives on my pita when I did not ask for them and then glaring at me like I was in the wrong, rushing my pita shut before I could ask for garlic spice (which is literally included in the Sweet Heat pita), and insisting that I "didn't need" extra sauce for my pita which turned out to be my driest pita ever. Horrible experience...
Read moreI honestly don’t understand how my pita ended up costing $29. I ordered the Southwest Steak Pita and upgraded to XL, since the store is covered in ads promising double meat and double cheese. Yet, I barely got even a single serving of cheese, let alone double, and had to practically beg for more sprouts and sauces.
I came here thinking I’d save money while eating something healthy, but in hindsight, I’ll just save my money instead. For what I paid, I could’ve had an all-you-can-eat feast at most restaurants or left with leftovers. On top of that, every time I asked for more of an ingredient, I felt like I was inconveniencing the staff. The whole experience felt rushed and unwelcoming.
Their BOGO deal is decent, but outside of that, I can’t justify coming back given the...
