Jessy's Pizza Dauphin — Restaurant in Dauphin

The place was highly recommended but ended up disappointing. Paid $19 for a donair and 591ml soft drink. I asked if it comes with cucumber, the guy said yes. I said ok then please no cucumber. I then waited 45 mins for my order, and in that time they only sent out two other orders (a pizza and a couple sandwiches).

When I was finally called, I saw that they had added cucumber instead of removing it, so I brought it to the server's attention and he said it doesn't normally come with cucumber so he thought I was asking to add cucumber. I said no that's why I asked you if it came with cucumber. He took it back, picked off the cucumber and re-wrapped it. The cucumber juice left on the meat was still enough to give me heartburn (allergy) but I had already waited 45 mins and didn't want to wait for him to remake it, nor did I trust that he would actually remake it even if I waited.

The donair meat was nothing special, bland and cheap tasting, and the only other toppings were a spoonful of diced tomato and a few onions. No lettuce or olives whatsoever, just meat. Came with a cup of some type of sweet yogurt sauce which I didn't care for, and the cup had sauce all over the outside of the lid so it got all over the inside of the bag and covered my hand when I reached into the bag.

Won't be going back again. Prices are steep considering the subpar quality.

I had given Jesse's a high rating on the first couple pick up orders. However I am giving them a 1 now. About 10 days ago I ordered some pizzas. One was right... however I got a vegetarian for some reason. We live in the country and I was not going back. Someone would have been mad getting a meat pizza when they ordered a veg. Today I stopped in and ordered and paid. They phoned and said they would not have the poutine till 230. So I said I will take a refund. Needless to say I arrived to pick up my order and they could not refund on my debit card. After phoning the manager. We tried again. So I got my cash back and cold food. Not sure who owns or manages. But they need to reply back to my review. Otherwise we can go to the many other pizza...

I, personally, am overjoyed for having Jessy's Pizza in Dauphin! Imho, it's the best pizza in the entire Parkland region. Their pizza crust is crispy on the outside but light and fluffy on the inside. Their sauce is the bomb though...it's nice and tangy with little bit of heat to it! There are 3 major factors I use for determining a great pizza joint such as Jessy's. The greatest pizza joints use real pizza ovens, they also need to have a good dough/crust and lastly they need a spicy and savory sauce. 9 times outta 10 if the joint has these 3 factors it's a...
