Three of us went only for dessert on a weekday. It took them 45 minutes to bring out our dessert.
The two orders of Chocolate brownie addiction were nothing like we have been ordering at other locations of Boston Pizza, hardly any drizzle of caramel, fudge/chocolate sauce, and to add insult to injury, the ice cream that came with it couldn't have been more than two teaspoons per order, no napkins were provided, and no water was offered.
We asked the server to fix the dessert and told her that this was not even close to what we have been getting at other Boston pizza locations. She took it back into the kitchen to get it fixed and it was then SOMEWHAT fixed, still not satisfactorily to win the customer's heart and to make up for initially creating a poor customer service experience!
The owner was seen collecting the dishes at other tables, he approached us as well with an air of arrogance and a boss like attitude, we mentioned our experience to him, and upon listening to our complaint, he told the server in front of us with an air of exonerating himself of any responsibility, but putting her down and placing the onus on her "now it is for you to follow, did you hear what these people are saying .......". I had to interrupt him to prevent any further belittling of the server. This is not how a manager engages with their staff when a customer complains of subpar service.
It is actually the owner/managers responsibility to set standards, checks and quality control in place and be aware of what comes out of the kitchen, and how it is prepared before it reaches the tables, especially when this is what your bread and butter is and you do this seven...
Read moreWe arrived at the establishment to celebrate Father's Day before going to a concert! 4 out of 6 of our part arrived early, so we ordered an appy and beverages. This came out in a timely manner. We finished our nachos, the rest of our party arrived 20 min. After they arrived, we had to call over the server she never came, so the manager, I assume, took our order and drink orders for our 2 that arrived. 15 minutes after ordering, we had to flag down the server again for water and refills that never came after ordering meals. Another 30 min I flagged him down again to ask how much longer our food would be he said 7 minutes 15 minutes later, no food, so we tried getting his attention, and he ignored us. Had to get up and track him down he said it was in window it was not 25 min later after being ignored 2 out of 6 meals arrived they finished there meals and we still had no food for 4 of us the rest came out 20min later and 5 min before our concert started. The manager came over and asked how it was and said it was on the house. When I said it was gross, he was offended like he wanted a thank you. We took our meals to go. Mine was cold and like rubber when it arrived, and not one dish was anything to be thrilled about. 2 hours for our meals will never be back to this location seen another table also not having a...
Read moreYou wanna talk about a solid play? Get your butt to Boston Pizza. This isn't just a meal; it's a five-star victory lap, and if you think otherwise, you're just wrong.
First off, the grub: Delicious! And I'm not just whistling Dixie. You want ribs? They've got a big slab of fall-off-the-bone ribs that'll make you question every other rib joint you've ever wasted your time at. But here's the kicker, the real mic drop: whereas every restaurant except Costco fails spectacularly at sticky toffee pudding, Boston Pizza actually does a decent job with it. Yes, it's very sweet and they're very generous with the ice cream – practically a glacier on top – but they nail it. It's a miracle, frankly.
The atmosphere is classic Boston Pizza, no surprises there, which is exactly what you want. And thank the heavens, all the TVs are placed in areas that you can easily see, so you won't miss a single highlight while you're stuffing your face. Plus, the service was great. They're on it, they're friendly, and they keep the good times rolling.
So, stop pretending you're too cool for school and get yourself to Boston Pizza. Your taste buds and your inner glutton...
