A recent experience I went through needs to be shared. I ordered some food one night, the first thing that happened was the completely useless delivery driver that refused to get out of his vehicle. I live on the 4 floor of my apartment, I sometimes walk with a cane and I had to go downstairs and outside to his car as he told me he wouldn’t come up. My order was over $75 with a 25% tip given to the driver during my online order and that’s how the driver acted, completely pathetic. Then, part of my order was 2 Big Crunch sandwiches and I received 2 normal chicken filets. I called to explain the situation and was meet with nothing but hostility. I was yelled at and was told there was no way they had made a mistake and they hung up on me. The order was supposed to be dine-in, but it was initially given as takeaway, and when the food arrived, it contained only chicken thighs. When I politely raised this issue with the staff, I was met with an extremely rude and dismissive response. I was asked to bring the tray back, and the way they spoke to us made us feel as if we were doing something wrong or trying to get something for free.
I fact, the lady who took our ordered and gave us food said out loud from the till across the dine-in area “ I wanted to make sure you don’t get free food”
We tried talking to the Manager but she had the same attitude same tone.This was honestly such a brutal and hurtful experience. We went there just for a simple lunch, but we ended up leaving in tears. I felt humiliated and embarrassed in front of other customers because of how we were treated. Read moreI’ve had multiple visits to KFC Dawson Creek, and while the food is always delicious, my experience with the service has been disappointing. Last night, I arrived at 9:16 PM, just 14 minutes before the posted closing time of 9:30 PM, but the entrance door was already locked. This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues with the staff closing early, which is frustrating when you’re looking forward to a meal.
What’s even more concerning is the lack of friendliness from the staff. It’s disheartening to feel like you’re bothering them just by being a customer.
