Let's family restaurant is a family owned restaurant attached to an inn. You can stay, sleep, and eat here. They open early and is a popular spot for breakfast brunch and lunch. Their service is friendly! I do appreciate that they are polite and respectful. Great job! The food is hit or miss. I really like their bennies and breakfast food. I liked their burgers and sandwiches. Their omelettes are good and seasoned salty to eat with toast. But some dishes were a total let down. For example, the onion and liver (lightly breaded and fried) was very disappointing because it was burnt and I couldn't eat half of it. One piece of liver had a stronger liver taste than the other. The liver cuts were fried way too long, or, on way too high heat. It was hard and burnt. I can't fathom how it could get that bad and why they still decide to serve it?!!! Fries are not my favourite as they get really soggy and waxy and have a slight green taste to it. You know like that bitter taste. They could also improve their vegetables, these really remind me of frozen vegetables. Maybe some asparagus or slices of carrots instead of diced. I think overall I would stay away from the dishes I mentioned and only go for breakfast brunch items with hash not fries.

Went here with the family. I wanted to try their Le's Burger (I was really hungry). Although I think the burgers were frozen patties, it was really good. The burgers were streaming hot and somehow stayed hot for the entire meal. The fries were really good. I suspect that the fish and chips are probably also really good based on how the fries were. The rest of my family had breakfast items and they looked good (and they were satisfied with them). I'd go back again. Prices generally seem maybe a little higher than other places, especially their pop. For example $3.50 a can when you could get 20 cans for $10 from the Co-op down the road seems excessive to me.

I read some good reviews before heading out there and I wasn't disappointed. It is located on the ground floor of the Voyager inn motel in Dawson creek. Their menu has some excellent items including fish and chips which was awesome. In fact you can't go wrong with this place doesn't matter what you order. Customer service was top notch and service was quick. I may not want to stay in their motel but the restaurant is a must visit.

We stopped here for both a breakfast and a lunch during our stay in the region on a recent hunting trip. We visited Le’s Family Restaurant as an alternative to the sterile, overly corporate feel of White Spot, and it was a great option.

This place is busy at breakfast time, but less so at lunch time. The server was really very good, and even though our server was busy she took the time to explain our menu options and the offered specials.

The breakfast was good, as one would expect, though I personally prefer shredded hash browns (not offered) to cubed hash browns, they were nicely cooked and tasty. With our sourdough toast, we were delivered a tray of jams and jellies rather than the traditional one or two tiny packets of jam - which gained huge points with me (as nothing is quite so bad as having so little jam for one’s toast that it’s merely an essence of the flavour).

When we visited for lunch, we both had the Le’s Burger, which is perfect for a large appetite and was very tasty! The two comments I can offer are that the burger needed more sauce (mayonnaise), as it was a touch in need of, and it’s almost impossible to eat a large two pattie burger without it falling apart and having some sauce running off one’s fingers... (no sauce dripping off fingers in this case).

The other thing about the burger was the fries; Le’s serves a soft style French fry, and we prefer a crispy style fry. In any case, their fries were tasty and we enjoyed them.

So, in summary - the service was friendly and prompt, the dining room was clean, the washrooms were clean, and food was tasty and fairly priced compared other places in Dawson Creek. The other thing is, this is a place where the locals eat - which is always a good sign.

I’d be happy to stop here again and recommend it...

The service was good, but in a pandemic, the server needs to abide by health mandates in order to make the patrons feel comfortable and to protect the elderly from the risk passing something along. For instance, on 4 separate occasions, our server specifically took her mask down to talk to us. That defeats the purpose and intent of the masks, and you are now within our 6ft bubble and we're supposed to be able to feel comfortable at our table.

I also watched both girls that were working not wearing their masks in the back near the kitchen. Again, this defeats the purpose of health protocols and for those who are wary of going out, they will be more inclined to stay home when observing this behaviour. They should be more considerate of their professional practice, especially since their livelihood depends on guests dining in.

Lastly, touching the center of your mask (which is where you breathe) to reposition your mask up or down, and then putting that same hand on the edge of my plate to serve my food... was an absolute turn off. The service was outstanding and the staff were very nice, but because of the blatant disregard for public health, I will never return here again. Very sad, since I otherwise...
