Appearance-wise, it is a very small town family Chinese restaurant I started it with the Wonton soup. Normally I have to add soy sauce to the boring broth. However this did not require any additional season. I had combo plate #2: Egg roll, fried rice sweet and sour chicken and chicken chow mein. The S&S sauce was mildly sweet and actually a bit sour. Very refreshing and enjoyable. The chicken balls themselves were meaty. The fried rice had to subtle delicious flavour. The chicken chow mein was superb. Very highly recommended. I will be back next time I am in Deer Lake.

Most amazingly warm and friendly staff, and very warm atmosphere. Relatively standard Canadian-Chinese fare, but prepared well, with quality cuts of meat that are perfectly cooked. Scallops are a nice addition to a number of dishes, which haven't seen at a lot of Chinese restaurants around. Service is attentive and the wait time for your food is short. Definitely worth a stop if you're looking for Chinese food in the area, or even a relatively quick lunch. Will be back!

We came all the way from Toronto Ontario and are nicely surprised by this Chineses restaurant. We ordered three dishes: Cantonese chow menu, teriyaki beef and seafood veggies on rice (I only remember to take pictures after we finished the first dish and half way through the rest). The portions are huge and they tasted like homemade! Definitely will drop by again before we head back to Toronto!

I really wanted to like this restaurant and based on the good reviews, thought I would. Be sure to read the menu carefully. I ordered Won ton Soup for an appetizer. The flavor was good but instead of Bok Choy for color and taste, it looked and tasted like pieces of iceberg lettuce floating in the soup. For the main dish I ordered Moo Goo Gi Pan. It had minimal flavor and it didn't come with any rice. That is an extra charge. I have been eating Chinese food for over 60 years and have never had to pay extra for rice with an entree. The restaurant seemed to have a good carry out business so maybe it's just me?? Sorry.....not my...

Food was great, ate there twice in two days and both times had great tasting meals. The service was good, however, someone should really tell the server that it is not acceptable to have waist length hair down and swinging over the table and in customers faces when serving food. I had to ask her to tie back her hair as I got a mouth full of it when she reached accross the table to hand over a menu and flicked her hair around while doing so. Pleasant enough young lady, very polite, but she really should have her hair pined up...
