Best Garden Chinese Cuisine Restaurant — Restaurant in Delta

When I ordered, I was told 25 minutes. I showed up 30 minutes later to get my food. An hour later, and I was still waiting there....bad service on a $100 order.

While I was waiting, a couple came in, ordered, had their soup, and were halfway through their entree. This was arpund 40-45 minutes after I placed my phone order.

After 70 minutes, I went up to the counter again (3rd time checking in with her), and she retrieved my food from the kitchen...and confirmed it had been there for a bit. A meek apology was offered, but that's all.

I brought my slightly cooled off food home. The fried rice, chicken chow mein, and green beans with beef were good. The szechuan beef and chicken snd broccoli were bland. They tasted like the already cooked veg and meat had been tossed with the sauce---not cooked with it. And our fortune cookies were stale. Bland as it was, we needed to eat.

This is solid north American Chinese food, perfect for local take away, and miles better than anything at the mall. It is good value. We will be back.

Some of the other reviews had me worried, however, they are misguided. We had the Party of 2. It was hot and ready in the time frame promised, and all items tasted fresh.

4, instead of 5 starts, because the chicken chow mein was closer to a low mein. Although skinny noodles, it was not crispy and devoid of anything like veg to accompany the chicken. Just noodles and chicken.

Solid no frills north American Chinese, probably catering to the nearby clientele. Wish there were some more adventurous options, maybe some soup dumplings or bolder spices and flavours in some of the dishes. They are still a victim of the iridescent coloured sauces, but don't be scared to try as it's great...

We went to tsawwassen mills with one of our grand kids and when it was time to eat she asked for Chinese food, so who am I to say no to her, but I didn’t want to get mall food so we found this restaurant 5 minutes away from the mall. When we got there we got greeted very quick, they gave us tea then eventually we order. Food came out quick but I’m sad to say that the food was mall food quality and quantity.
