Ocean Palace Chinese Seafood Restaurant — Restaurant in Delta

Missing items from my order and It took over an hour and a half for me to get my order. I did order through skip but the order was received by the restaurant in about 2 minutes and the driver was there before the food was done AND it only took him 6 minutes to get to my house.

All I ordered was 2 combo meals and 2 pops. They didn't give me any drinks or cutlery or napkins. And when I called the guy had the nerve to ask me to drive there to pick up my drinks they forgot AND tried to blame the wait time on skip the dishes. Wasn't until I told him I was going to leave a poor review that he offered to refund me for the 2 pops that I never even received........uhm yea I'm deffinately not paying for the items I never got buddy. Thanks alot. Meal should have been free.

Again your trying to blame the skip driver. You only offered to have the drinks delivered after I said no to picking them up myself and only offered the refund on the drinks after I said I was going to leave a bad review.

The only reason this place is still in business is because of the absolute chokehold it has on Tsawwassen as the only Chinese Restaurant.

Ordered food (4 dishes) at 4:30pm when they opened. We were immediately told it would be 2 hours (ridiculous) and they would call us when our order was being started. We waited 2 hours and did not receive a call. When we called to check on our order, the young man on the phone told us “I don’t know how long it will be, I was yelled at for asking and told I was being annoying.” Poor guy. We drove to Ocean Palace to wait for our order and saw absolutely nobody dining in. The restaurant was empty. We asked how much longer. “10 minutes.” 25 minutes later we received our order. We ordered food at 4:30pm, didn’t receive it until 7:45pm.

This place is an absolute joke, from the way they treat their employees, to the length of time it takes just to receive your order. Nobody should have to wait nearly 3.5 hours to have their order ready, especially just 4 dishes of Chinese food. Next time we are ordering from Richmond, or grabbing something from Tsawwassen Mills Mall. Without a doubt it would have been faster. I would never recommend Ocean Palace or give them my business...

Was told that this was the best Chinese food available In Tssawassen\Ladner and was very disappointed. From the initial attempt trying to call. A lady picked up for the phone and said ‘What’. We were told 30 minutes from time of call, and then got a called and said 10-15 minutes. Not much communication and or phone courtesy. The Chow Mein was hard and crunchy and in parts cold, sweet and sour pork was nice but could have done with more sauce and was a bit tough, lemon chicken was pan fried cold and the lemon sauce was cold and congealed in the cup. Sadly the only good thing about I was the veggies and they weren’t super hot.

Would be great to have a description of what’s in each dish. ‘Special’ includes beef fish squid prawns chicken and veggies for the chow mein. Prices are ok, definitely Not worth the food you get. Drive to Richmond and...
