I was here with my sister this morning; we both ordered drinks only. She got a Decaf latte made with coconut milk, and I ordered a Matcha latte, also made with coconut milk. It was insanely busy but things were flowing fairly well. The guy at the counter taking orders was really nice and was definitely working the right station. At the far left were two girls working on a mobile or pickup order that was large, two females were working the bar from what I observed. One of them, I believe named Emily, had super chaotic energy. She was loud and moving quickly, but it didn't seem any more efficient than the other girl who was quietly making drinks as they came. She was actually quite distracting when I was trying to place my order and I had to pause to try and focus. People were staring at her, possibly thinking the same thing I did. Our very pleasant visit suddenly turned less pleasant as being around her was very anxiety inducing. My order was incorrect, and when I pointed it out, the barista barely acknowledged the mistake. The coffee tasted watered down, and the store was not as clean as it should be.
What made it worse was seeing a woman with a young child being denied access to the restroom. It was disheartening to witness such a lack of compassion. A community coffee shop should be welcoming, not cold and unkind.
