A Great Dinner at Tasty Indian Bistro We just had dinner at Tasty Indian Bistro, and it was such a lovely experience that I had to share. From the moment we stepped inside, we were welcomed by a cozy, inviting atmosphere. But what really made our evening special was the incredible service we received from our server, Jas. Jas was simply wonderful. She greeted us with the kind of smile that makes you feel right at home. Even though she was taking care of several tables and handling all sorts of requests, she never missed a beat. It was clear she’s incredibly hardworking, yet she made it all look effortless. One thing that really stood out was how much Jas knew about the menu. She didn’t just take our order; she helped us choose, offering suggestions that perfectly matched what we were in the mood for. Whether it was deciding on the best appetizers, entrées, or the perfect drink, Jas had great recommendations for everything. Her knowledge of the cocktails, whiskey, and bourbon options was impressive, and her suggestions made our meal even more enjoyable. And speaking of the food—it was fantastic. Tasty Indian Bistro really lives up to its name. Every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. You could tell the chefs put a lot of care into each plate, and it made the whole experience even better. But honestly, it was Jas who made the night memorable. She was so friendly and attentive, making us feel like we were her top priority, even though we knew she had plenty of other tables to look after. It’s rare to find someone who’s not only great at their job but does it with such genuine warmth. All in all, our dinner at Tasty Indian Bistro was a great experience. The food was delicious, and Jas’s outstanding service made the evening special. If you’re looking for a place with amazing food and even better service, Tasty Indian Bistro should definitely be on your list.

This was my first time and Tasty's and I am waiting to go back! Hands down the best north indian food I've had in a REALLY long time. We started off with apps, which IMO are the absolute best things on the menu, then had our main course, followed by dessert. 1. Gol gappe- these weren't anything special. I would skip these. 2. Tasty sliders with chicken- these were AMAZING! Order these, you will not be disappointed. Its a tandoori chicken they use and oh my gosh, the flavors of the chicken and the sauce/chutney they use is wonderful. 3. Tasty tacos with fish- these were ok. The fish was good but the taco itself was ok. The flavor could be enhanced. 4. Paneer tikka- this is the BEST paneer tikka I've ever had. The paneer itself is so nice and soft, definitely melts in your mouth. The spices are perfect. The adjoining chutney is amazing! 5. Chicken biryani- if you've ever had authentic south indian biryani you will be disappointed. Tasty's isn't bad... but I've had better. Not as flavorful as I'd hoped. Id skip this and try something else. 6. Butter chicken- This was good. A little too sweet for me, but not bad. 7. Cardamom dream bar- if you are deciding which dessert to get, GET THIS if you don't hate cardamom. So soft, not too sweet, flavors were exceptional. The accompanying ice cream was also really good, it tasted like pistachio/rose syrup? Not sure but it was yummy. 8. Ferrero Rocher Jar- This was really good as well as long as you like chocolate. But nothing special IMO I will definitely be going back to try different items on the menu! If you have young children, they do not have a specific children's menu. They can however make plain salted fries and make a basic unspicy butter chicken or shahi paneer I believe.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tasty Indian Bistro in Delta, and I must say, it was a delightful culinary experience from start to finish. This restaurant not only offers a wide variety of delicious Indian dishes but also provides a warm and inviting ambience that enhances the overall dining experience. First and foremost, the food at Tasty Indian Bistro is simply outstanding. The menu boasts an extensive selection of traditional Indian dishes, each bursting with authentic flavors and aromatic spices. From the flavorful curries to the perfectly cooked tandoori dishes, every bite was a true delight for the taste buds. The quality of ingredients used and the skillful execution of each dish truly showcased the expertise of the chefs. The ambience of the restaurant is another aspect that deserves praise. The moment you step inside, you are greeted by a cozy and elegant setting, with tasteful decor and comfortable seating arrangements. The dim lighting and soothing background music create a relaxed and intimate atmosphere, perfect for a memorable dining experience. The staff members are attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist, adding to the overall positive ambiance of the place. Furthermore, the attention to detail in presentation is commendable. Each dish is beautifully plated, showcasing the vibrant colors and enticing aromas. The portion sizes are generous, ensuring that you leave the restaurant fully satisfied. While Tasty Indian Bistro offers an exceptional dining experience, it is worth mentioning that the prices are slightly on the higher side. However, considering the quality of food, the inviting ambience, and the overall experience, it is well worth the investment.

Thought the reviews were all hyped up so decided to give it a try. Went with the biggest food critique in my family my dad. He seems to have enjoyed his meal and has plans to come with mom next time :) There weren't any wait, we were promptly seated and we weren't too sure about the quantity as it was our first time, sat down and as a typical Indian Dad he ordered masala chai and I order chilli fizz and for the food we ordered tasty tacos with crispy paneer inside- great appetiser later 1 prawns biriyani which was just enough for 2 slightly to the lower end for quantity but was very filling as it had plenty of prawns inside. We then ordered some yellow dal to go with the biriyani and some chicken tikka that came as a sizzler. Great taste! Service was on point as well, our server was very attentive and kept checking on us regularly, took our add on orders on time and there was no delay in service. She was very pleasant and enthusiastic. Cleanliness was on point as well, there weren't any dirt on the surroundings and the utensils and plates were not dirty or chipped. Seating was comfortable. Great lighting and good ambience was a cherry on top! Saw several larger party seating arrangements, might be a go-to for big parties. Price is slightly to the higher end but can't Complain, a suggestion would be to add more items into the happy hour food items.

The best indian restaurant in Vancouver. Ive been to a few and can state that this is by far the best Indian resto in Vancity. Love their food, service, ambience everything. We stopped by for lunch on a weekday and were promptly seated. They also take reservations online so do that on busier days/weekends. We ordered their lamb chops, dynamite shrimp, goat curry, bhatura & garlic naan! Everything was divine but their lamb chops - omg - i still crave for them every week!! Perfectly flavored juicy melt in your mouth chops that are screaming with flavor in every bite. The dynamite shrimp is another app that I can keep munching all night long. It does have a kick to it but you can customize the spice levels while placing your order. The goat curry was delicious and had such simple home made flavors which paired perfectly with the Indian bread. Now for dessert we were stuffed but wouldnt leave without something so ordered their ferrero crunch bar with vanilla ice cream - amazing dense ferrero bar not too sweet but perfect for someone like me who doesnt have a sweet tooth. The vanilla balanced the denseness of the bar as well. Glad we tried it. And their chai - homely! All in all highly recommend this Indian resto when in Vancouver.

It’s a popular restaurant and at a price range like downtown Vancouver. I went to the Delta location. I was told on the phone that on weekends they don’t take reservations. It was busy but pleasantly surprised we didn’t have to wait long to be seated. We liked the décor and ambiance, an upscale and trendy feel. Everything we had tasted great, Indian food with a western flair. Although it was a busy night, it did not take too long for our meals to arrive, which was surprising. It was hard to find parking, had to park in next establishment’s parking lot. There is a valet service but did not use it. The only issue I had was with service. The staff is friendly and accommodating. But there are miscommunications or lapses of attentiveness between servers. We did not receive water after being seated, even when we asked for it. We had appetizers arrive, but there were no plates or cutlery at our table. The floor manager noticed this and made sure our entrees went well. However, we had the wrong desserts brought to us, and the floor manager graciously gave a discount. I am glad that the Floor Managers were attentive but if they weren’t, my review would have another star missing.
