Harvey's — Restaurant in District Municipality of Muskoka

This was the most ignorant direspectful group of kids we have ever seen. Where is management? Had one kids make a shake and wasn't involved with what was going on came threw the shake towards my husband with an attitude then gave him the *^&$ you look and sauntered away. This little boy may one day land the owner of this store in very hot water. He should really watch who he is making gesturing threats against. Tp too all off they said they don't own a microwave the barely there so called chicken strips were killed.4 pieces small burnt and 6 bucks. Bounce them off the pavement kinda thing. The "manager" was about 17 and said we don't throw food at her staff. Haha nope wrong way around. Look at your cameras. If they don't have any which they obviously don't or management would want to save their store!! Good idea. Great way to make sure your staff is actually doing their jobs, not giving customers attitudes nor acting like punks. If my kids ever spike or acted like thst when they worked at McDonald's etc. They would have lost their jobs. Standards people standards. There are many people who wish to have a job. This store needs a huge training session on customer service, the proper serving techniques, cooking to proper Temps and throwing out chicken that if had not been microwaved then sat for minimum 4 hours It was rubber. Milkshakes vanilla with just shot of chocolate on top. That was because of the attitude. This happened after! Yes retaliation. This is absolutely disgusting. Franchising should mean more than just money. Make sure your ppl hold the standards to the standards or Harveys step up and control who you let franchise. We are going to head office as this is the first time here and for god sakes look the the wonderful reviews. They suck. What does that tell you. Sad. This generation needs a kick in the ass about manners and accountability and attitudes!! Rant...

Messed up order. They couldnt refund my debit and gave me cash instead. No acknowledge of their mistake. On top of that they served us food that was sitting out for a long time, it was dry and overcooked. I also asked for new fries and not the ones under the hotlamp that sat there for 10 minutes. The fry cook pretended to throw the old stale fries in the garbage but threw them back into the fry pile. Please avoid this place. This is my second bad experience with this location.

Completely unfriendly staff. This is the Harvey's/ Swiss Chalet in Huntsville. I went there for a quarter chicken and fries. I wanted the Harvey's fries as the other ones didn't travel well. And truth being told, I just don't like them. I was very well prepared to pay for them but was told that I could not substitute the fries. I told them all that I want was chicken from Swiss and fries from Harvey's. I told the lady the I know that I would have to pay for two separate things.
