2 stars as yesterdays service was perfect, but today I tried to enter food court but was stopped by lady with the broom and was told that I can’t enter as I don’t wear a mask. I explained that I was born with a genetic condition that makes it hard for me to breathe in a mask..she said I can’t come in, I got annoyed as yesterday I was there I bought gas and paid inside, bought coffee at TH and ordered from Hero burger. They asked me for mask but I said exactly same thing and there was no problems. Lady with broom did not accept my explanation and stood in middle of the door, I said to her that I am coming in and if she wants she can call the police as this is discrimination!!!! She let me in but said no one will serve me!!! I went to order coffee again, cashier was scared and went for her manager (I think) and I had to explain again and I was served. Then I moved to Hero Burger where the lady with broom standing behind me , looking at Rayan(worker of Hero Burgers ) and said he will not serve me without me wearing mask even after I explained myself again that I’m exempt .... even though his co worker did serve me the day before. The lady with broom was flying all over place and then I saw her to talking to girl (also worked there but I don’t want to cause her trouble so I won’t say which kiosk) not wearing mask, probably because old lady couldn’t hear her clearly so girl was allowed to remove her mask but not me!! I told that to her on my way out you should see her face and how she suddenly was nice and tried to be helpful, advising how I can order hero burgers online Hero burgers train your workers that there are ppl with health issues that can’t...
Read moreWe went in on our way up north and had no issues, we went in again on our way home and ordered the same thing. This was June 6th around 6 -6:30pm. The girls at the counter was very very difficult to hear with the plexiglass up. The menu was hard to read through the plexiglass as well. We ordered 3 burgers all with gluten free bun. I asked about sweet potato fries with my burger, but the cook in the back said they weren’t gluten free. The girl at the front was clueless and not helpful at all. Well after some time we noticed that the receipt only said gluten free on the first combo, which meant my burger was going to have a gluten bun. We went up to correct it and it was too late the burgers had been made. We were very clear that my burger would have to be remade as it can not touch gluten at all (this should be obvious as I didn’t get the sweet potato fries that were made in a frier with gluten items.) Well here I am at 3am writing this review because it’s clear to me that I have been exposed to gluten. I’m doubled over in pain. It couldn’t possibly have happened anywhere else as for our entire trip we ate our own food without any gluten with us at all. I’m certain they just took off the gluten bun and put on the gluten free bun. Very very unsafe. We were clear that was not acceptable. I will now likely be sick for 3+ days and unable to fully function. We chose this restaurant specifically because of their gluten free menu. I was not sick at all after our visit on the way...
Read moreSo this is now an edited review.
My first visits were good getting the breaded chicken burger with the jalapeños on the waffle bun..... nope not even a beef burger. But I've always wanted to try a burger with an egg. So today I decided to take the chance. Hung over super hungry but looking forward to a juicy greasy burger and egg. Well I was wrong. I know we have had an influx of tourists since the weather has been super nice for a March. But this burger came out over cooked and dryer then a popcorn fart. The egg which I though should be at least over medium to get the juicy egg experience ( I wasn't given the option) but the egg wasn't even..... let's put it this way. The yolk was so hard it was like chalk. Yeah chalk like my kid uses on the sidewalk. This was a 15 dollar burger. The kid taking my order did let me know that it was the meat egg tomato and that was it. So I even asked for mayo and lettuce. Still I had to drink half a bottle of coke zero to swallow my first bite. Garbage and a waste.
Not that I should but I will give them a try again but only due to lack of options in the area. But I will not be ordering that...
