UPDATE tried again to see if they have changed management or gotten better. Short story, it's somehow even worse. Absolutely, under no circumstances should you waste your time with this location. I waited 10 minutes at an EMPTY COUNTER while the staff ignored the 3 people in the room waiting to order. Not even a basic acknowledgement. When a woman finally rolled her eyes to take orders, she was abrupt and rude to each. I tried to order the sandwich of the day and was curtly told they had none. I suspect everyday they are "sold out" of anything with a discount. Kfc is WILDLY expensive and frankly, you should all just go across the street to Popeyes. Much nicer people, light years better service, and you don't feel like a burden. (Also cheaper and better chicken). It's crazy this location still exists.
Brutal service. Been there 3 times In the last 4 weeks. Twice they had no chicken and told me it would be 30 mins!! 30 mins!! This last time? Ridiculous. I ordered 12 pcs of chicken, was told she couldn't change the order so I would have to pay $6 extra or leave the restaurant and use the drive thru because there was no manager on site. Why was there no manager? This was NOON.
So, tldr; apparently KFC doesnt have chicken and I went 3 times to get zero pieces of chicken. Smarten up....
Read moreFrankly, the Bracebridge KFC location has been a disaster for some time now. Ridiculous operating hours, often only the drive-through is open, food often looks and tastes noticeably not fresh, often "out of white meat" (!), staff appear less than enthusiastic (to put it politely)...all of the 1-star reviews here are well-deserved. We keep trying, though, because everyone in the house really likes KFC! In the past two weeks we have had two orders where the 8-piece "all white" chicken (complete with "white meat" upcharge) contained 6 pieces of chicken, packed into a "large fries" box instead of the usual small bucket, entailing a 20-minute drive back to the restaurant with now-cold chicken & fries for a refund. Sadly, no one at the restaurant or even KFC customer service seems to care (no reply to two polite emails detailing the recent errors). Rather than have this location continue to soil the KFC brand, the company would be well advised to close this restaurant as they did in Gravenhurst...the place is like a clinic for How To Lose A...
Read moreNo customer service employees were playing on their phone and left our food on the counter We had no idea if it's our food ... after we were done our meal I accidentally left my phone inside. I went back in and I couldn't see my phone and one of the employee was laying down on the couch just close to the one I was sitting on and playing on his phone. I asked him if he saw my phone. He said no I totally checked everything nothing I went back into my car to check once again if it's in my car, I check my car twice. Nothing I went in third time and voilaaa my phone was there where I literally saw few minutes ago. There was nothing. I found my phone there, and all three of the employees were sitting there having some conversation. The kfc owner needs to recheck...
