Classic Christian patriarchy here. Do not support this place. So unwelcoming.
Imagine 6 mothers connecting over coffee & treats, sharing sweet moments with their babies, possibly considering checking out the church here, only to be shut down (by a young man working on a laptop on the other side of the shop who did not identify himself), and told that they were not allowed to enjoy the space with their little crawlers.
Dude, these babies crawl in the grass and chew on wood chips - you think these brilliant minds on mat leave didn't carefully consider your floor and determine it was safe enough? Get a grip. Who do you think keeps the doors open and your salary paid? Families.
Honestly, glad my friend and I witnessed this. We were about to make 4 new mom friends, but instead came away with a reaffirmation that the existence and experience of the feminine is never a priority of these people. You can tell the other batista look down at his phone and didn't say anything when the guy was being rude. I would have bought a coffee but after my experience no thank you. I worked in customer for over 20 years and you never talk to a potential...
