Bellepro's — Restaurant in Dollard-des-Ormeaux

Hi- Last week I went to eat at this restaurant. I had previously eaten at the other Bellpro in Dorval on sources, but never at this one. I ordered the hot dog special consisting of 2 hot dogs, fry, and drink. The fries were good, but when I bit into the hotdog, it seemed to me like it was made of rubber!! I don't know if it was because the hot dogs maybe were in the steamer too long or what, but I had a very hard time trying to chew the first one. I did not want to complain in front of quite a few people who were waiting in line, but I guess I should have after having spending more than $13.00!! I managed to eat the first one , and after finishing my fries and drink, threw the 2nd one in the garbage!! It is for sure that I will never ever be going back to this place again!! P.S. Also, it is more expensive than the one on Sources in Dorval less than 10...

I drove by this place a few times while visiting the city for work, it looked fun and inviting, it looked like a classic diner from days long gone ... I finally got a chance to stop in and I wasn't disappointed by the menu offerings ... The staff were very friendly and helpful when I arrived, even though it wasn't that busy, they seemed cheerful and were very attentive ...

I ordered a smoked meat poutine for takeout ... It smelled amazing in the car and didn't want to wait ...

When I finally got a chance to dig in, I enjoyed every bite, the smoked meat was amazingly flavourful and the gravy was superb !!!

Will stop in the next time I'm In the area to try more from the...

Ordered poutine at 10:30pm. Fries were only fried once. These are not fries, they're just deep fried soft potato sticks.

I am not a chef or a pro, but i can literally make fries better than what i got in about 10 minutes in a pasta pot. I cant believe i paid money to get something i could have made better at home with a bag of potatoes and a bottle of vegetable oil from a vague memory of a recipe i learned 8 years ago. Order cautiously as you may not get the standards set by their advertisements and photos.
