Just to begin the meal was around 320$ and I did tips generously, despite the poor service and poor experience I had for two people. I didn’t want to drag all the other employees because of the main server that was responsible for my table.
I apologize in advance for my broken English.
So I went for valentine tonight, and I had a horrible service with the first waiter that was assigned to my table . His name I think was Teodore or something like that. Since it’s my first time, and most likely my last time there, I didn’t know what was included in the set meal of Tomahawk steak for two . Therefore I asked kindly what was included in the menu, and the waiter just quickly told me that I need to choose one of the option (entrees and sides). I did reask my question concerning how many type of side dish or appetizers can we take, since I was thinking about the set Combo fof Tomohawk (around 230$). I was really mid satisfy with that answer, since Iwas more referring if we can choose two entrees and 2 different sides, or both couple need to take the same side and entrees. His answer just basically read to me what was on the menu. I am also more francophone, therefore I often try to speak french to make my question more clear and vocal. So maybe I wasn’t clear, but I still think that he could have given me a proper instruction (I also used to work in restaurants and other services). I also want to point out, the waiter was really friendly with other couple and other table, compare to mine. We also didn’t get the bread at the beginning, and not before our appetizer, but after our main course (steak). I find that odd and I needed to remind him 3 times in different occasions. Like mention before, other table that arrived before or after me got their bread before me. So I did feel I was treated differently by this server in particular, especially the table beside me got their bread when they sat down, and even then, I still didn’t get my bread. Just to remind the reader that it was the same server doing the service for this section. I also want to point out that other couple look more white them me, I am asian, more specifically chinese, I do wonder if that was one the reason perhaps. I aslo have a baby face, so maybe it was because of being asian and younger than usual couple in term of physical aspect of it.
He also later try to gaslight me by saying that the side that were receive were « included in our meal », but he clearly gave us the wrong side . We order mashed potatoes and bake potatoes, but we got fries and spinach instead.
Anyway, I told one of the manager of what happen, and all the other staff were kind enough to even before my complain. After telling the manager, they of course apologize and they kindly change my server.
Despite all that, I told them that I am making a formal complaint in the restaurant and currently on google, it’s because I want justice and customer shouldn’t get those kind of treatment, especially for a special night, like Valentine.
I told them that dispite being upset and not happy about the situation, I don’t need any discount, or free meal , and I will still tips generously. I don’t want the restaurant to think that us people are complaining only to get free stuff, here is why all the detail mentioned before.
Short story of tonight , I would just like a review from the owner about the situation, and hopefully they got the information that one customer was really unhappy about it. Although everything, the food was good, i would come back for the food, but definitely not for the service!
This post should be a 3 star overall since the food and the mood were good for special event, such as anniversary or date, but I want the owner to notice before changing it back from 1 star, since the food and ambiance were nice. But I would give 0 star for the service. You guys have my reservation under my name for 20:30 for the 14 feb 2025, if you need to contact me, all my info should be there.

Thanks to Max, one of the manager and my server Crystal for their professionalism and were extra nice. Five stars for them, for sure!
Here's what happened last night: It was my best friend's birthday so i made the reservation on line and in the comment bow (that they have on their site) i specifically ask to be on the bar side, because they have live music on Fridays and Saturdays and i also mention that it was for a birthday. Evrything was confirmed!
Our reservation is at 6:15. We get there on time and i am very excited to celebrate :)
The 3 hostesses at the frontdesk are all busy talking to eachother...One ask for my name and tell me that we have a table on the other side...
I repied saying that i requested the bar and specified that it was a special occasion and that i wrote all this in the comment box. She could not do anything about it, she said she was not aware and i had no other choici since the bar area had a reservation for a special event.
I ask to see the manager and he came, with his all wrinkled pink suit and couldn't care less and simply said that he apologized and that the girl earlier did not look at the reservations on line so they couldn't let me know about my special requests, since no one say it...
I also remembered him and mention that i was there last May and i was on the bar side and that a glass of wine, that was already chipped and nobody saw it including myself, broke in my mouth... He was already had one to many drinks and again apologized and offered me another glass that i had to asked 3 times to get it. It was a very busy evening...
Then came Max, another manager, well dressed, polite, sharp and he personally made sure everything was good from now on.
We had a very nice server: Chrystel.
I know that i am not always easy but i ALWAYS had the best experience at that restaurant and that is why i don't mind driving 40 min to go there whenever i can.
I know since Covid everything has changed and employees are rare and somewhat le service a la clientele, not sure they remember what it is??? This is not some beat-up ordinary restaurant, it is one of the best !!!!

Read moreWe reserved the place this Saturday , July 6, for 6 adults , 3 couples, however the decoration was amazing , the bathroom was clean , we ordered 2 plates of calamaris, 1 plate of octopus, a plate of tartar, as appetizers and we also asked white wine, margaritas, shots and more , however everything was fine until while I was chewing calamari, I bit on a big white ceramic piece ( that was almost 1 centimetre) I did not notice it while putting the bite on my mouth, since it was dark , dim light, I was just shocked but also happy that I did not swallow the whole ceramic piece… 🤒🤕, so I called the manager and showed him the piece that was in my plate and that ended up in between my teeth ( the piece appeared, most probably coming from a broken plate 😡), the manager apologized and proposed to replace the whole food with another choice of appetizer! 🫠🫠🫠🫠🙄🙄🙄 which I find extremely unprofessional!!!! This wasn’t the only negative incident that occurred that night, there was a mosquito 🦟 in one of our guest’s glass of white, again we called one of the waiters, who called the manager to show him the dead insect floating on the drink 😡!!! Once again they apologized and suggested to replace the glass of whine , as someone that use to be owner of 5 RESTAURANTS myself!!! It was very very disappointing and disrespectful, clients satisfaction should be all restaurant’s priority! Anyhow, we asked for tequila shots but they gave us vodka😡🙄again we asked the waiter to tell him about their mistake , instead of helping us , he started to argue with us by repeating on and on that they had poured tequila shots! But then I interrupted the guy and showed him the shots and he noticed that we were right and he was wrong, they had served us vodka and not tequila shots , like we asked ! So at this point we were very disappointed and not satisfied at all ! The service was extremely low quality! For a fancy restaurant, the quality and service was cheap not worthy of the whole amount that we paid! Oh and not to forget to mention how slow, extremely slow the food service is , our food arrived at least an hour after we were served our appetizer, anyhow the people in charge of the restaurant should highly consider changing their staff and hire suitable, professional staffs, that can give a way better...
