We called the previous day and were told to expect a 10 minute wait. We arrived at noon, and we were served our meal at 1:45. The unhelpful hostess was uncommunicative as to wait times so we had no idea if it would be 5 minutes or 50. We had elderly people with us, and forcing them to stand for over an hour was ridiculous and unprofessional. We had to ask for a chair and a glass of water.
Once we were seated the meal was served in about 20 minutes, and the service was very good, as was the food. My only complaint was the ridiculous wait that essentially ruined an otherwise nice brunch experience.

In response to the owner's response below My mother is 86 years old and certainly never writes reviews. I think you mean my sister. It was in fact our first time there and it will likely be our last. We obviously did bring up our concerns at the restaurant. Even you admit that your staff had to supply us with a chair and water as a result of us expressing our concerns. If you were present at the restaurant, and you supplied a chair and a glass of water for the elderly woman who had to wait over an hour, it's strange that you did not come over to address the situation. I am not sure how much clearer we could have been that we were in distress over the wait considering we suggested she might pass out and needed water and a chair. You seem to be implying that WE should have sought YOU out which is really not the responsibility of the patron. You as the owner should probably have addressed the situation then and there. You are right that we should not have waited at all. The people who accompanied us insisted. Had it been up to me, we would have left and found another brunch place. I certainly did not need the aggravation. You said, "The hostess could not easily answer the usual " how long is the wait" as 21 people would have to get up and leave before your party of 4 could be sat". Well I guess you could have said: "There are 21 people that will need to eat and get up before you can be seated, It will likely take over an hour". That's it. I guess we were deluded into thinking that the tables would rotate more quickly as a lot of your patrons were just lingering and chatting while we were waiting. Maybe you could ask chatting patrons to leave their tables if they are finished their breakfast instead of letting other patrons wait in line. As the very first sentence in my review says, we did call in advance. We were told we could not get a reservation. Not sure why you are suggesting it. I am sorry if my review upset you, but you should try and be more communicative with your patrons at the restaurant instead of getting upset at reviews after the fact. I gave you 3 stars originally but dropped to 2 after your unsympathetic and accusatory response. I am not against you or your restaurant. This is not personal. He ate the fruits that were somewhat okay and the rest were disgusting. After that, we sat around waiting for the waitress to tell her who was also, assuming, on her break for 90% of our time there. We had been waiting to let her know about the plate and we were only able to tell her the second time she came around finally and saw us when we asked for the bill. She was also very passive aggressive, no wonder the manager hired her. My husband was actually the one who mentioned the plate wasn’t good to her, so clearly you don’t know the full story or someone’s not being honest here. We weren’t expecting the dish to be free but at least some acknowledgment from the manager or a genuine apology for a bad dish priced at almost 20$. It was almost a spit in the face from the manager with his 10%. A definite lack of customer service there. The food quality has gone down the gutter and that’s that, and clearly your honesty. Do better!
I ordered a waffle with fruits, the first couple of fruits were okay and then it went downhill from there. 90% of the fruits were sour and the waffle was soooo bland and it had a weird taste. Given that this was a 20$ waffle, I expected way more from this. I left very unsatisfied and took only one bite from my waffle. I brought it up to my waiter and the only way the manager would rectify this was giving me 10% off, pretty pathetic. This is my last time going there.. they’ve gone downhill and I don’t think they’re going to last...

Went on a sunday morning and the service was so slow. The mashed potatoes were cold. We were served by a lady with blond hair, tattoos and braces. Looking through the other reviews, I can tell that other people have also not appreciated her service.
The tipping point was when my friend had to pay. She paid with her credit card and for some reason, the waitress said the payment did not go through. When checking her transaction history, the payment was still pending. The waitress did not provide any receipt that showed the payment was cancelled. Since the waitress was aggressively asking my friend to pay again, my friend reluctantly paid again (a big mistake). Two days later, she finds out the payment went through twice. Obviously, we called to ask for a refund, but they said they had to do it at the restaurant. We go to the restaurant and the manager doesn't even give the refund instead a gift card. The manager cannot even give a good excuse on why they cannot refund us. Such a waste of time.
In order to help you not live through our misfortune, you need to know that under Quebec's Consumer Protection Act, you are not required to pay a second time if the merchant cannot verify that the payment was cancelled. Also, under Quebec's Consumer Protection Act, you are entitled to a refund in the original form of payment, not a gift card, when you were wrongly charged.
This restaurant is ran by people who cannot take responsibility of their own mistakes. The food is also not worth 30$. Go...
