I don't know where to begin. The food? 11/10. The people? 11/10 the vibes? 11/10. Everything about this place was BEYOND my expectations. It was my first time coming here & was surprised to see that a small shop packed such a huge punch. Orders were flying out & the staff was continuously busy but did take the time to acknowledge you. The music choice was fire too 🔥. I ordered a regular(small) Jerk Chicken meal. 10 minutes in, I was told that they ran out of rice & that they would be more than happy to replace it with something else. I politely refused and decided to wait 30 minutes for fresh rice. In those 30 minutes, I observed a young gentleman (later found out his name's Bilal) in the back, turning off the music & taking time to pray. (Which is SO incredible to witness & gained my genuine respect). As I continued to wait, the staff surprised us with fish cakes! They were DELICIOUS & fresh out of the fryer. I'm allergic to fish but ate those anyways & needless to say; they were SO worth it. Bilal & I striked up a conversation. He was kind, courteous, respectful & simply has a heart of gold. I told him that it was my first time visiting & he said that he would take care of us. He packed a big box of jerk chicken along with fried chicken. He truly did take care of us! The meat was fall off the bone, it was juicy & seasoned to perfection. Will definitely be returning!

You praying Salah reminded me that Allah says, "So remember me; I will remember you". What I witnessed today was heart warming. I know that he won't disappoint you. I had called them and placed an order well in advance for pick up because last couple of times I went and the food took long because they keep running out of rice. So this time I called and went to pick up the order after being told ‘your order will be ready’ I get there and guess what they said ‘we are out of rice you have to wait 30-40 mins’ this is the third time this happened. First two times it was in summer so we walked around the area for 30 mins. This time that wasn’t the option. I shouldn’t be waiting for anything if I’m placing my order in 40 mins in advance. Rice is an essential item with jerk chicken. How can you keep running out! If it’s a constant problem find ways to make a bigger batch have a plan, your running a business. That’s like going to McDonald’s and being told we are out of big Mac, also fish cakes too they are always out. Why is it on the menu then ? If you don’t have food to serve close up shop why keep it open? Anyway had a terrible experience ended up cancelling my order and will not be going back and definitely won’t be recommending...

I recently visited one of the few halal Caribbean restaurants in Montreal, and I have to say, the food is absolutely AMAZING! From the perfectly seasoned jerk chicken to the flavorful rice and peas, every bite was a delight. Being one of the only halal Caribbean spots in the city makes it even more special for those of us looking for a place to enjoy this unique cuisine.

That being said, I did run into a bit of an issue during my visit. Yesterday, I ordered five plates for my group, only to be told at the end that they had run out of food. While this was disappointing at first, the owner of the restaurant went above and beyond to make up for the situation. They generously compensated us and made sure we left feeling taken care of. It was clear they genuinely care about their customers, and their effort turned the whole experience around.
