McDonald's — Restaurant in Dorval

DORVAL DRIVE-THROUGH... WOW ! Ham McMuffin had bacon, it was corrected at the window, as my husband told them about the mistake, so we got a ham McMuffin with RAW ham and soggie lettuce and untoasted english muffin,. PLUS: one order of pancakes had a considerable sized piece of lettuce inside its plastic container, and my husband's egg mcmuffin had NO EGG (he was home by the time he noticed his), just lettuce and tomato, are you joking with me? ! ! ! He called to report the missing egg... seriously, BEFORE you leave with your breakfast in your car: LOOK INSIDE AND CHECK EVERYTHING. It's a luxury to order out, Mom doesn't have to cook, she is happy waiting for her treat and SPLASH - surprise, yet again. (Last time we were at Dorval drive-thru, there was also a mistake, but we didn't report it, having great personalities at the drive-through will only carry the business a certain distance, just saying). Years ago, I had given up on this Dorval branch because of such mistakes, and then, I started going back during the end of the pandemic to feel a little relief... the 2 first breakfasts were ok, and the 2 last orders went wrong. No more ordering out from Dorval McDonald for this family of 3... Shattered orders, shattered morning feelings... no more! Our order was no. 483. After realizing everything was wrong, the part of the order that was meant for my daughter and told her I would make her some home made pancakes instead. I feel that McDonald should refund our breakfast, but that's just the old fashion...

My experience started off with a kind spirited server. The process of giving me a restaurant Puck and telling me to wait at the table was awkward enough in a quiet McDonald's. The problems all started when the food arrived. I ordered the extreme chicken BLT and the sandwich itself was a complete write-off. The crispy chicken patty was dry and rock hard, the bacon had to have been cooked this morning and was being served to me 2:30 in the afternoon because it was also as hard as a rock and cold. I ate in the restaurant which means my meal was on a tray and yet when I opened the box my sandwich was all over the inside the box and not properly assembled. The french fries themselves were all small tidbits, little tiny pieces, there was one or two long french fries in my whole pack and the rest were all little tiny ones. They may have been warm and salty but it was a disappointing experience. I would say the only good part of the whole meal was the soda. While I was trying to eat my meal I took the time to look at the bill and although I was in a McDonald's it said restaurant Alain "Something", which led me to believe it was a franchise. Being a franchise, I doubt it was being run as well as any other MacDo I have ever been to. I live in the area but will never return to this...

I was on the 20 highway west of Montreal near doraville and I felt like having a milkshake that I haven't had in a long time. Chocolate milkshake. The drive-thru is lined up so I went inside. It was even worse than outside. But I waited in line and 15 minutes later and seven people. They took my order. I waited about 7 minutes and my order appeared on the window with the number they gave me and then it disappeared and I saw other people being served. I said how about my order and they said wait. I'll get it to you in a moment. They never did. I cut in the line which was already five after me and I said excuse me but you're serving everybody else and skip my order so a girl gave it to me. They didn't even say sorry or here you go or any anything nice at all. There are too busy making money to be nice to anybody or of good service. The chocolate shake was okay, thick and over sweet but something I wanted to have. The lousy customer service and waiting and having my order of a chocolate shake that was already prepared. Skipped and other people being served after me was not okay. Not please at all. In fact, I wasted a good 20 to 25 minutes there. Unacceptable for fast food and there weren't that many people to begin with. Thumbs...
