After a full day of travel today we walked from our hotel to BP in Drummondville. We frequent BP in our home town and enjoy the food and atmosphere. After our drinks were served the waiter proceeded to wander around the restaurant (which was not busy) and completely ignored us for over 15 min. He checked in other tables, chatted with the hostess and other staff. Our Kids were upset and we were all very hungry after over 13 hours on the road. I hope I’m wrong but I get the impression it may have been because we don’t speak French. The few tables around us were French speaking and were being served regularly by our waiter and other staff. It was very obvious we were being ignored. It’s also possible the waiter is just in the wrong profession and language is not the issue. We’ll never really know. He spoke English clearly so I struggle to understand why we were being ignored. I (we) have never experienced anything like this. My wife, in frustration, walked up to the waiter while he served another table and asked for the bill for the drinks we were told we could just leave (we had barely touched the drinks) No apology. I’m still in shock at the experience and had it been even remotely “busy” it would be justified and we wouldn’t have walked out. We were starving and looking forward to some of our favourite dishes. We frequent Drummondville as a half way point during our travels. This was our first time at this BP location. Also the last. Scores restaurant across the street has always served us with a smile and great service. I’m enjoying a meal here as I write this. I rarely leave negative reviews. I prefer to only point out exceptional service. Tonight is...
Read moreHorrible, one of the worst experiences, the waitress (an old lady) doesn’t know how to treat people, she confused my order because she really didn’t care about it, I am vegetarian and I specifically ordered a vegetarian dish, she gave me an Alfredo with Chicken, the chicken didn’t even taste like that so I though it was one of the cheese of my dish, I was not sure about it, but the waitress didn’t care when I was calling her, my parents tried and idk why the chicken didn’t taste like chichekn, I didn’t finish my plate and asked to take out, when the check came I figured out that my plate was more expensive than I tought and realized that she gave me the Alfredo with chicken instead with mushrooms and spinach. Honestly she was a horrible person that when I told her she didn’t even care about me and my reasons being vegetarian, after some other staff came they tried to help, I am still very mad and still thinking on suing the restaurant because is an error from the waitress and her bad attitude with the customers, at the end they just discounted my plate...
Read moreThe only place open when I got into town. The server was friendly and polite. My order was up super quick with no mistakes made despite the language barrier. I got the fried chicken sandwich and fries. Fries were meh but I knew bp has mediocre french fries. The sandwich itself could have been delicious, the bun was fresh, the toppings and sauce all delicious but the actual chicken was the worst pressed piece of garbage I've ever had. I don't mind pressed chicken but this was so sinewy, horroble texture and no taste other than the sauce. If you're gunna use frozen premade products the least you could do is source a decent supplier. For literally $25 it was near inedible. Super disappointed Boston Pizza.
Update After reaching out via the suggested link from Boston Pizza, I received a rude response stating most people love our chicken. Great customer service Boston Pizza 👍don't ask someone to take time and offer their opinion if you are just going to respond with attitude and tell me how I'm an anomaly and my opinion...
