We went in to town in the evening on boxing day. Not much was open for supper. Thankfully, 241 was open. It was a bit of a wait, but only because the dear lady serving us had half a million customers to serve and only her working all by herself! A man decided to yell at her, saying, "You promised it would be ready for me in 20 MINUTES!!!! SO DON'T LIE lie to MEEEEE!!!!". He could have given it some thought the fact that she would even bother to open with all of the variables at play! I felt sorry for her. She was working hard, and she was fixing issues, and she was polite and kind! The pizza was worth the wait! I hope she has a good holiday season, and that people become a little more kind to eachother. Thank you for...
Read morePizza was actually pretty good. Cooked how I wanted it and it was good quality. The poutine and chicken bites, not so much. They advertise cheese curds on their poutine, but we got shredded cheese on our with almost no gravy and their fries are horrible as well. The chicken bites themselves are good, but the hot sauce they use is not good and it looks like plum sauce. They also took over 1 hour and 15 minutes to deliver our food and we were staying 15 minutes away.
I would order pizza from here again, just nothing else...
Read moreAfter working some long days up in the area the thought of a nice, hot, pizza and a cold beer for dinner was sometimes all that kept me going. This 241 was a pleasant surprise. Their crusts were just chewy/fluffy enough to be stratifying without being overwhelming, their meat-lover toppings were plentiful enough to sate my hunger and their prices, well, they certainly did not break the bank.
Calling ahead for pickup was also great as I could avoid the wait.
I would definitely get another pie from here...
