This Mary Brown's location needs to be closed down, I've never in my life experience such horrible service. Do not go here, you will be very disappointed.
I went to this location tonight, I ordered the chicken sandwich and a poutine, I was waiting for over 10 minutes for my food when the cashier informed me they don't have gravy for the poutine. She suggested I get something else from the menu however, the only reason why I went to Mary Brown's was specifically for a poutine. I requested a refund for obvious reasons, she agreed. They tried to refund me my money back on the Visa card I paid with however, it kept saying "declined". They again suggested I order something else, I reiterated I wanted my money back as I paid for a poutine, you can't give me what I paid for, I should get my money back..... They continued to try to refund the money back on my Visa, it kept saying "declined". They AGAIN told me to order something else from the menu, I requested they just give me back my money in cash, they looked me in my face and said "that's not possible". I continued to refuse ordering something else as again I specifically came there for a poutine and I said this to them SEVERAL times...... They phoned the manager and I got my refund, in cash. I've never in my life been so disappointed and frustrated...... This had to be the worse costumer service I've ever experienced, do not go here, they have many different food options in that same plaza, I suggest you spend your money elsewhere with better...
Read moreI had never heard of Mary Browns until I read in an article that Mary Browns had the best chicken in Canada so thought of checking them out. They do not place all their cooked meat up for display like KFC or Popeyes; it’s all prepped in the kitchen. They say it’s all made from scratch but I could not validate that. Ordered the spicy chicken 2 piece and order took about 10 mins. They give a side breast and a drumstick and to make it spicy they sprinkle raw chili on top rather than incorporating it in the coating; that leaves a horrible burning taste on your lips! The chicken lacked the crispiness due to inconsistent coating and the breast was dry. Points deducted for that but their dark meat was on point, juicy and the flavors are deep and much better than the other global commercial fried chicken companies. I would give it another shot for sure. UPDATE : tried it a few times now and I only order the originals which is great and much better to an Popeyes or KFC so giving Mary Brown’s an...
Read moreI went into Mary browns last week spending $60 on 3 combos and two chicken twists on the side. My chicken twists were undercooked and the batter around it was extremely soft (never experienced this at other Mary browns). I asked for extra mayo on one of my big Mary’s and they put so much mayo the sandwich was covered on the buns and there was also a pile of mayo in the container and when I called the guy he said “you wanted mayo on the side” which was never said. They forgot my taters after I went in to complain and they told me it was in the box with the sandwich. Also my chicken tenders were so hard to bite it was like biting a tendon of the chicken. I called to complain and I was given attitude by the boy on the phone, I asked for a manager to call me back and never received a call a week later. Super disappointed wish I could give 0 stars, won’t be coming here again.
I have emailed them and they never responded, they try to look helpful but really they do not care about...
