CrepeStar Dessert Cafe & Pho Bistro — Restaurant in East Gwillimbury

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the service and quality of food provided during my recent visit to your establishment. My experience at crepe star was nothing short of appalling, and I feel compelled to bring these issues to your attention if you plan on going to this restaurant.

Firstly, upon ordering chicken tenders, I was shocked to find that they were still frozen when served. Not only was this a severe oversight in the kitchen, but there was also a lack of acknowledgment or apology from any member of your staff.

Furthermore, while attempting to salvage the dining experience by ordering a pizza, we encountered yet another disgusting surprise - there was a hair embedded in the pizza. Again, no apology was offered for this unacceptable hygiene issue.

When we brought these issues to the attention of the staff and requested that the chicken tenders be properly cooked and served with the sauce we ordered, our requests were met with incompetence and indifference. Not only were the chicken tenders returned to us without the sauce, but there was still no apology for the inconvenience caused.

Additionally, the customer service throughout our entire ordeal was horrible. It was evident that the staff lacked the basic training and courtesy required to handle customer complaints effectively. Instead of addressing our concerns, we were met with dismissiveness and rudeness.

We were unceremoniously kicked out of the restaurant simply for discussing our dissatisfaction with the service. Our conversation was not disruptive or loud, yet we were treated as if we were unwelcome.

Overall, my experience at crepe star was utterly unacceptable, and I am appalled by the lack of professionalism and basic courtesy displayed by your staff. As a paying customer, I expect a certain level of quality and service, both of which were sorely lacking during my visit.

I urge you to take immediate action to address these issues and ensure that such incompetence and disregard for customer satisfaction are not repeated in the future for anyone else the service was...

I wanted to express my extreme disgust and disappointment I experienced at this establishment. For starters my partner and I were greeted from behind a counter and were told to sit anywhere. From there on we were approached by a “server” in slippers and sweatpants 25! Minutes after sitting down. We were confused as there was only 2 other people in the store.

We order the pizza, cheese cake and a crepe. She asked if we would like the dessert after the pizza we obviously said yes because the desert had ice cream and would melt.

After yet another 30 minutes of waiting for the pizza (bbq chicken pizza) it finally arrives just to see a frozen store bought pizza that has been topped with different mozzarella to hide the fact it was frozen. Well it wasn’t very discreet because the pizza was actually still frozen.

After 3 minutes exactly she tells us that our cheese cake was already made and ready and she asked if it was okay to bring it out. Even though it was an ICECREM cheesecake $20(also very evidently store bought) not only was it melted when it got to us but it was also awful unfortunately.

After the extreme disappointment we were hoping that the crepe would save the meal. After another 30 minutes after our previous food we finally get our crepe not even one full bite in a long black hair is sitting imbedded in our food. At that point we were sick to our stomach and at a loss of appetite and we were still charged for half our meal.

I asked the lady serving us if the pizza if made frozen and she admitted that it is. Not to mention the bubble tea we ordered was hardly drinkable because the tapioca was also frozen!

My partner and I actually got sick after leaving this place. After leaving I wanted to see if this was just our experience only to find out that other people have had the same issue. How is this place still open and how has health inspection not been called. Moral of the story I would not recommend this place...

I came here on a weekday afternoon to satisfy a hunger for crepes. The place was quiet. Besides my family, there was one other group. The place looks very clean. I actually noticed there were no water stains on my glass, utensils, and plates. Not a big deal if there were, but I was impressed. The server was friendly and made sure to mention the daily special to us. We ordered the veggie and egg crepe and a pizza and our food came to our table quick. The pizza was okay...Its not wood oven pizza... Texture was more like the pizza that you make at home with the prebaked crust from the supermarket. The savoury crepe was loaded with fresh toppings inside and tasted great. For dessert, we ordered a specialty crepe, a Nutella and fruit crepe, and cheesecake. All of these desserts came to our table, plated nice enough to instagram, and were delicious. Definitely helped the sugar rush we were craving after the pizza and omellette crepe. I feel the place is a tad pricey for the portions and size of pizza, cake, crepe, etc., but I need to add a fifth star to this review for the quality of customer service. Not sure if they are the owners, but a woman and a man working there were friendly, patient, and seemed happy. This place is out of my way but I'd like to come here again when I have a sweet tooth (or after a movie at the neighbouring Cineplex)....
