Went to A&W for dinner, grabbed a few Piri piri chicken and beef burgers, and was excited to try them. Came home, took a bite of the burger, opened it up to the small patties both beef and chicken. The burger tasted awful, not sure how it was supposed to taste, but it was very distasteful. Felt sick afterwards. I called in two days after I spoke to an assistant manager by the name of Yuki. She told me she would get back to me after talking to her manager about the poor experience. Five days passed - no call so I called back even though this was a small order it was about the experience. I called back to see if any action was done. NOTHING. She replied “Oh sorry, Sir, it’s because you don’t eat spicy food and this is the reason.” So the fact that she generalized I don’t eat spicy food and second saying that this is the reason was offending. Was extremely disappointed in the level of management here. Very poor. I don’t like to say avoid places so don’t avoid this location just be weary of quality and customer...

I almost never write reviews, but after what happened today, I just have to share. This morning around 9am, I came to this A&W with my family for breakfast. The restaurant wasn’t busy, and we ordered two Classic Bacon & Eggs meals. Right away, we noticed there were a lot of flies inside, something we hadn’t seen during previous visits. Today there were easily a dozen or more flying around, which made the atmosphere very uncomfortable. Our coffee also took about five minutes to arrive. For a breakfast place, I would expect coffee to be ready and served quickly. Then, when the utensils came, both the fork and knife had visible stains, as if they hadn’t been cleaned properly. This really raised concerns about the restaurant’s hygiene. When the food finally arrived, we felt uneasy enough that we preferred not to use the utensils at all. The food itself was fine nothing wrong with it, but the overall experience was extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, I don’t think we’ll be coming back to...

Today I ordered 3 beyond burgers from drive through and I had 50% off coupon. while ordering I told the person I have 50% off coupon. At the window I had elderly woman she takes coupon and starts talking on her headset to take order. Instead of ringing 50% off she rings in $3.99 for burger. When I told her that its 50% off she told me that I didn't say its 50% off coupon and when I told her that she didn't listen to me when I was saying. She started sarcastic tone that "SORRY SIR I DIDN'T HEAR YOU SIR. YOU SHOULD HAVE SAID THAT LITTLE LOUDER SIR" First I don't have to mention that I have 50% off coupon. She can read that on coupon. When I pay with $20 bill do I say here are 20 dollars. Needless to say I cancelled the order and left. I always go to EPL and always ate at this location but now I will never eat at this location.
