My absolute favourite Starbucks in Edmonton! The place is incredibly clean, service is quick, staff members are some of the friendliest, and there is a ton of seating. Of course, Starbucks is Starbucks so it isn't on the cheaper side - but don't let that deter you from this great location.
Also: Owen is fantastic! Give him a raise!!
Edit: I fet I had to write another review. 5 stars simply cannot encapsulate how I feel about this place.
I've been to many Starbucks across Canada and a few in the US. I can confidently say that the service here is unmatched. Staff are caring and remember their customers. The place is incredibly clean and neat. The drinks are made with care and are not rushed. The baristas are efficient and its clear that there is a strong, healthy team.
To anyone in the area, the experience here is amazing. Its a Starbucks, yes, but its more than that. This place has become in very short time a fixture in the neighbourhood. Friendly and safe, warm and comforting.
The best thing about this place is that its taken the Starbucks model and customized it - and that's what sets it apart. You don't get the cold feeling of a corporate coffee shop chain. Instead, you get a more local feeling, a more friendly and customized feeling.
I can truly say that this is my favourite place to study and meet friends. Thank you for the lovey atmosphere and environment thats safe and comfortable for everyone!

Read moreI was ordering a Mocha Cookie Crumble Crème based frap as I have been doing for the past couple of years due to me not wanting coffee and instead wanting a sweet frap. For years, I’ve been charged for the mocha cookie crumble and the barista writes crème based on the cup and all they do is put a different syrup over the coffee based one. Instead, Jessica decided to charge me for a “syrup crème frappuccino” and charge me for adding the chocolate drizzle and chocolate chunks that make it the chocolate cookie crumble that I wanted. It added an unneeded dollar and made it more complicated than it needed to be. I tried to explain that it’s always been done the way I mentioned, with just substituting the base, and not charging me for a whole different frap and charging me for the add ons that come with the mocha cookie crumble. The whole situation was unenjoyable and the barista truly made me feel dumb about saying I’ve never had this happen before during the many years of me ordering this in the past. She wasn’t understanding at all, and instead was very dismissive and ignoring my concerns. I hope they fix...
Read moreWent there in the afternoon on Monday, July 14. Waited a very long time at the till for someone to take my order. It looked like a supervisor had a staff member in the back. Only one lady is making the drinks, and the second one is at the take-out window. When the young girl finally came to the till to serve me, I said twice that I wanted steamed almond milk with hazelnut flavoring. I told her that I can't drink cow's milk. That same evening, I ended up at home very sick. The next day, I went back to Starbucks and was told that "people make mistakes" and she (her co-worker) "did not do it intentionally".
This girl came back to the till looking like her supervisor had a "good talk" with her (a sad face). Guess that it was not good enough to improve her attitude. You don't punish customers for your mess-ups. I hope that she...
