I decided to try this place last week to get some pasta as a side dish to go with the chicken I ordered at Church’s Chicken a few paces away. Cara was the young lady at the front counter, and she was very welcoming, warm and patient in describing their offerings and helping me make a selection. She stood out from the usual front counter people at some places who don’t even smile and can’t wait for you to make an order and be on your way. Based on Cara‘s recommendations, I ordered the fettuccine with the chipotle ole sauce. Shorter lightly bearded cook whipped up fresh pre-sliced vegetables and chicken and then added sauce and the pasta to it like a pro. He too was very friendly and offered extra cheese, pepper flakes and a bag, the latter which I declined and maybe should not have. While he was cooking, a young tall fellow came out from the back and smiled. Overall, very warm friendly staff there. There was lots of sauce and bits to enjoy with the pasta.
Two suggestions I would like to make:
All in all, it was a good experience for me and my family. It’s nice to have such a place to be able to quickly pick up freshly prepared pasta to take out. The $17 individual portion provided 5 to 6 side servings that my family enjoyed. I look forward to another opportunity to try Amore Pasta...
Read moreThe pasta doesn’t taste good anymore. I don’t know if it’s the change of management or what but this location’s food quality and taste has gone downhill. They have reduced the quantity of sauce and the toppings. The vegetables added are not even cooked - they taste raw; the veggies used to be sliced thin now they are putting diced onions and peppers like who does that. I complained initially (earlier this year) and then continued trying it a few more times until we stopped as we didn’t see any change. I regret giving it a chance again today. A total disappointment. You spend $20-25 per person but you don’t get your money’s worth.
Response - That's right. It's about over a year now that we noticed the change though we have been ordering take out from this location since 2020. There are other reviews regarding less quantity of sauce than before so I'm convinced that there is an issue. Veggies - I'm not sure if putting in diced would enable the veggies to cook better, the sliced worked just fine. Regardless, the veggies tasted raw in the dish that I got. Price range - The $10.95 is essentially certain pasta shapes and a simple sauce with no meat, cheese or veggies. So it's on the menu but if you do want to add anything extra even though basic like veggies, you are close to $20 for a create your own...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Amore Pasta north location and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the cozy atmosphere and warm lighting set the perfect ambiance for an intimate dinner with my partner. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout the night.
Now, let’s talk about the food—simply divine! I started with the classic Nicky Santoro, and it was the creamiest, most flavorful version I’ve ever had. The pasta was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of bite. My partner ordered the Penne with pesto creame, and the sauce was the perfect balance of spicy and tangy. You could really taste the freshness of the ingredients.
The portion sizes were generous but not overwhelming, leaving room for dessert—which I’m glad we didn’t skip. Their Tiramisu and nutella cheesecake was the best I’ve tasted in years, just the right amount of coffee flavor.
What impressed me most was the attention to detail. From the homemade pasta to the freshly grated Parmesan and chilli flakes offered at the table, everything was prepared with care and passion. This isn’t just a place to grab a meal—it’s an experience.
If you’re a pasta lover like me, do yourself a favor and visit Amore Pasta soon. You...
