Pizza 73 — Restaurant in Edmonton

The pizza was o.k. Its really the service I don't like or the lack thereof. Been ordering from Pizza 73 for 25 years now. Continued to order from them throughout the early 2000s because the pizza was good. I will say that the delivery drivers have the worst attitudes. I don't really tip much at all. However, if I made an order for pizza in the winter and it is really cold as and snowy I will tip well. So with pizza 73 I tipped on occasion, but every time I received my pie from the delivery drivers I would have to deal with a grouchy attitude. If I didn't tip I would practically get my pizza heaved to me. A tip is a extra touch not a necessity especially to the fact that I pay, on top of the cost of my pizza and GST, a delivery fee of $3.75. Overall I'm getting sick and tired of the attitude and after not receiving comfirmation emails, tired of the lack of care by the establishment. I will be buying my pizza at Boston Pizza where the staff and delivery driver are pleasant, approachable and friendly, and also the pizza is far...

Worst experience. I ordered for pickup, waited 50 minutes to get my pizza and tried to talk to someone twice- asked about how my pizza was coming along, they left and never came back. Then finally a caught someone and said “hey, is my pizza almost done? If not I think I’ll just go somewhere else and get something else (I could tell they were busy and I was pretty hungry at this point)” he said “I’ll check” 5 minutes later I see him rush by and I ask “how’s my pizza? You never came back.” To which he said “it’s almost done”. 5 minutes later the first lady I talked to came and said they didn’t have the crust I ordered and would I like something else. In over an hour they couldn’t have communicated that? I don’t usually leave reviews but I hate that I wasted a solid hour waiting and no one bothered to tell me anything and actually lied to me...

This location (126 st 153 ave) always does a good job. I used to order from one in Clareview and they alllllways skimped on the cheese and toppings. I got tired of calling and sending it back so I just quit ordering from 73. I moved and thought I'll try this one and wow I have yet to be disappointed. These guys make it the way it looks in photos. Always hot, proper amount of cheese, nicely cooked, and fast delivery. The only 'complaint' I have is that I'm pretty sure 73 has changed its pizza sauce and it's not as good. However, that has nothing to do with this location. Great work...
