I shop at Al-Qitta Nuts for my monthly supply of freshly made Turkish ☕️ coffee. I like mine medium roast with lots of cardamom, and when I say lots, I mean lots of freshly ground cardamom. The owners always remember my order and are very welcoming and friendly. Their collection of freshly made nuts is excellent and of premium quality. I'm picky about how my coffee tastes and smells, and these guys know how to make it just right. The service is great, and sometimes, if I’m lucky, I get to enjoy their freshly made Arabic coffee. I’m a regular customer because their coffee is roasted and ground well to my taste and smells amazing.
I also buy their original Arabic ice cream 🍨with pistachio nuts. I used to buy a famous sweet called Halawet Al-Jebin from them, but sadly, their supplier no longer makes it. It was the best I've ever had in Alberta. The place is a little tight, but it's a family-owned business, and what matters most to me is the quality and service....
Read moreAl-Qitta Nuts is hands down one of the best places in the city for fresh, premium roasted nuts and authentic Middle Eastern treats. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warm hospitality and the irresistible smell of freshly roasted nuts—it’s impossible to leave empty-handed!
The quality is exceptional. Everything I’ve tried—from the pistachios and cashews to their unique blends and sweets—has been incredibly fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. You can taste the difference right away. They even roast everything in-house, and you can often sample before you buy!
The owner is kind, generous, and truly passionate about what he does. You don’t often find this kind of genuine customer service anymore. Whether you’re buying for yourself or gifting to others, Al-Qitta Nuts never disappoints.
Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates quality snacks, fresh ingredients, and supporting a local business that really goes...

The small shop is not dissimilar to a deli, only with nuts and similar dry foods behind the counter, along with a couple of shelves of levantine prepared food, along with a cooler of drinks, and what looked to be marinated yogurt cheeses. As we were looking around, the proprietor returned with samples of their wonderful mixed nuts.
Once our turn to order came up, the proprietor - a friendly, energetic fellow - happily offered us more samples as we decided on our order. We settled on their house blend of nuts supplemented with pecans and hazelnuts, along with a pound of their dark roast Brazilian coffee. We left with a complimentary candy, and...
