Horrible experience! Details: Read really good reviews of this place probably written by family and friends.Drove all the way from South side for 35 minutes to get here.Tried calling on my way to ask about working hours. The guy on the phone couldnt understand me. It was my first clue that these guys could not understand English.Went anyway based on the good reviews. Reached and inquired about Shawarma Saj which was not on the menu. The guy on the counter said " no broblem. " I further asked if they could make it a platter. Again "No broblem." So I ordered Saj platter and a Sami burger. Tipped good because had to pay upfront and waited 10 minutes for the food. Got served cold and burnt burger. They refused to give Saj platter and served a chicken shawarama platter. Everything in the platter from rice to chicken and pita was cold and tasteless. The 2 guys who came to serve kept on saying "this is all we have."No one came back to follow up. Will never go again or recommend to anyone. Complete waste of my...
Read moreOrdered a falafel wrap and told them exactly how I wanted it. After paying and receiving it, it was made incorrectly. When I called to tell them, they kept trying to deny that they made it wrong. After 2 minutes of arguing on the phone.. they finally offered to remake it. Upon returning to pita bake, all of the employees are standing behind the counter looking at me as I’m already waiting to receive service. After an awkward moment they finally ask me what I need help with and I told them that I’m here for the falafel wrap that was made incorrectly. The older lady with grey hair who messed up the order, drops the wrap and bag on the counter and none of them even apologize for the inconvenience or say goodbye. For almost 13$ you’re better off going to Kabab House. This will be the last time me or my family will be going to pita bake. The food was not good either.. originally wanted a refund but I guess they don’t do that. Btw I paid for a large but they...
Read moreI can’t say enough good things about this place! My kids and I went here for dinner this past week, we wanted to try something new…so glad we found this gem!! The service is fantastic, the atmosphere is really nice and the food is phenomenal My daughter had the poutine and my son and I had the Kabob platter. Had I known there portions were so good I wouldn’t have ordered so much, glad we did…we all had lunch the next day. When they said there are 4 pieces of chicken on the kabobs I thought I’d be getting something like at Opa (bite sized) Nope! Each piece was huge! The salad is so fresh and flavourful. I have now gone back twice for take home hummus (the best ever) and there awesome garlic sauce. My kid’s devour their fresh pita bread, it’s mouthwatering! To the gentleman who work there…amazing job!! They’re so helpful and friendly, they helped us navigate the menu and also made other suggestions! I highly recommend this place!! We will definitely...
