Aug 2021- I've been back here several times since my last review and still rates the best in my travels. Must say they are consistently excellent. Meat is always fried up perfectly, veggies are fresh, sauce on point. Owner clearly knows donairs inside and out and keeps them simple which is best.
Recommended to me by a friend. Friend told me that the burgers here were great and the donairs mediocre. I found it quite the opposite as the donair was delicious and arguably the best donair I've eaten in recent memory. The cheeseburger was good but nothing extraordinary. The price for a cheeseburger and donair was surprisingly low (I think just about $12) as well as I thought maybe the donair artist (not sure of his job description but he is an artist, it was a damn delicious donair) made a mistake but no, it was that cheap for the two of them. Read moreFirst impressions and all, would not return. Paid for a jumbo, got a super, onion rings were cooling in the basket before he even thought about starting to make my Donair. By the time I got home, they were cold and oddly enough over cooked so barely edible. Joked about an ingredient I asked to be removed, talked with a customer the entire time. I don't think he's able to make orders in a timely manner when he is distracted. Considering there was only one order ahead of me, it took abnormally long to make a simple order. Even my wife who was waiting for me in the vehicle asked what took so long. Honestly, the person behind the counter isn't made for this, lacks basic line cook knowledge, strongly recommended training or perhaps a career change.

When I mentioned it to the owner who was preparing the food, and all I wanted was for owner to warm it up for me in the microwave so I could enjoy it. In return the owner started yelling as to why the donair was cold and he kept saying it's because of the sweet sauce that he put. I have had donairs at many places and the meat is always warm. I didnt argue with the owner as I knew I was talking to a dead end, another customer intervened and told the owner that his behavior was out of line and he needed to treat his customers better.
