Starbucks — Restaurant in Jasper Place

I love starbucks and my experience is always very good at any location that I go. Unfortunately, last night I walked into this location and I ordered about 5 drinks. There were two people on shift, I tried reading their names off their name tags I believe it was Brian and Beth? I am not 100% percent sure. I have been helped by Brian before and he is always very efficient and friendly, however, the lady that was working with him was just simply sweeping and mopping instead of helping him make drinks or take orders at around 7pm. I understand they have to do these tasks before closing but the lady did not have any iniciative to help Brian take orders or make drinks she looked like she did not want to be there and completely ignored the people who came in after me. I found it very uncomfortable to watch Brian make all my drinks while having to take the other customer's orders as well. Because of this there were a couple of errors on 2 of my drinks and it took longer than expected to be made because as I mentioned before he had to do everything on his own because the other staff member kept sweeping and mopping while it was obvious that he needed assistance and help making the drinks. Overall Brian did his best under pressure and I am thankful for that but I do not understand why the other staff member did not want to help him out. It was very bad customer service from her end and her facial expressions made you feel as if she did not want to see any more customers coming in. Maybe she was having a bad day but as a customer that is how she made me feel. I do not often write reviews but I have never had a problem at any other starbucks location before and it was a really uncomfortable situation for me...

Night shift people are amazing. Nice, friendly, makes the drinks as expected and requested.

BUT, I've tried so many times... during the day. I realize it's a bit busier, but there's also many more people. There's normally 2 people during the evening, and 5 during the day. There's no drive-thru so that shouldn't be factored in for timing. I'm not trying to compare to the Starbucks down the road. But if I did, I'd be going to the one down the road. The reason I keep coming back to this particular location is because it's close and my breaks off work are only 15 minutes long.

I've ordered multiple times, multiple times on the mobile and multiple times in person. I don't know what's up with the person taking the order - doesn't smile, doesn't chat, doesn't answer questions, and you need to walk up to them to order, they don't look or call you over. (Which I wad always taught to wait for them to call you over since walking up and ordering while they're doing something is rude)

I'd normally be ok with everything because the drink would turn out ok. But today? Nope...

It's been sitting there for a close 5 minutes, I walked up and asked, "I ordered a iced caramel macchiato but that's not my name..," followed by them asking "upside down?" I said, yes. And they only nodded to the drink.

Again, I ordered upside down... this drink was not made upside down... had coffee grinds in it that mixed with the caramel on the bottom, coffee on top of the lid, and is overall just not a good experience. I guess no more Starbucks during work for me for a while.

Where do I start!!? JASPER GATES STARBUCKS IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST STARBUCKS PERIOD!! A good barista is hard to find and this location has been the most consistent with making my particular drink.They are always friendly and have made a point to get to know my name which makes you feel good (it just does!) I have left a nice tip with one of their employees that always makes my drink perfect,he always has a smile on his face and always greets me by name as soon as I walk in for my mobile order!! HE IS A GEM 💎 Thank you jasper gates baristas for always doing a great job!

Seen how I cant leave 2 reviews on Google,I hope the manager still sees this edit! Your baritstas went above and beyond last night for me when I called in about my Uber order they new who I was right away and made sure my drink was perfect and then sum!!! Give those guys a rasie plzzzzzz they are definitely the reason we come back to this location even tho it's 20 mins away...
